CHASSIS: Observe photos and judge for yourself. Wooden side-panels are original factory. Room temperature studio-only use since 2009. We thought this might appeal to collectors.

DETAIL - Disassembled and thoroughly tested! Knobs, jacks, power supply, main panel, new battery, everything. No stone left unturned! Since this is a 1984 vintage synth, we decided to replace the keyboard contacts with brand new ones. One new key was also installed. Unit was calibrated and all factory programs were reinstalled.

(Vermona '14) Telemann: Fantasia #4 in Bb (Section 1)

"Section 1 from Telemann's Fantasia #4 in Bb (originally for solo flute).

The initial plan was to record each Fantasia as a single piece, but each section is strong enough to act as a standalone recording. That, plus each section suits a new synth tone.

Great pieces, great composer. I'll likely eventually record on the Vermona all of Telemann's solo Fantasias - they suit the instrument perfectly.

A great long-term project I have my eyes on is to record all solo flute works on mono synth. I've given this thought for a while, and will possibly record key works on certain synths. Recording all solo flute works would be a huge project - best to start with a few sets/pieces.

The solo flute repertoire is perhaps one of the best ways to make the most of a monosynth - no need for layering etc. And with Telemann, the purity of Baroque melodic lines really does shine through.

"It's been over 6 months since I last uploaded and that's sad. I'm upping the game with the upload after this one, don't you worry :)

This is a performance supporting Void_Null and LucasParis AV from the West End centre in Aldershot on the 11th of November 2018. Bands and individual artists will let a song grow over time jamming and playing it live, and 'Friends' is the same. I'm happy with it, but I think it'll grow. I was cursed by an out of tune bass this time, but hey!"

"I recently found out this machine exists, so I found one on eBay and bought it. The Yamaha AN200 is a groove box from 2001, equipped with a PLG-150 AN extension card, which uses the same sound engine as the AN1X or the EX5, but with 5 voice polyphony. I did not spend much time with this yet, just dialed in some sounds and made this short demo. As expected, you can create some powerful sounds with this."
