Published on Mar 29, 2019 Plankton Electronics
"Complex patching using 2 oscillators, the Ants VCF and the SPICEVCF, 1 Ants VCA and one Nutone channel as a VCA. The other nutone channel is adding subtle distortion. The envelope follower is triggered by a 4/4 drum doing some sidechain effects."

Stream by Sinevibes
Published on Mar 28, 2019 Sinevibes
via Sinevibes: "Stream is a delay sequencer Audio Unit plugin for Mac. It features an array of 32 individual delay taps routed sequentially one after another, with gradual or stepped feedback. Each tap is routed into its own filter and has dedicated level and pan parameters. The delay sequence includes variable stereo modulation which is uniquely applied with phase inversion between odd and even taps. Stream allows to choose between modern and vintage characters and has a time multiply control to slow down or speed up the whole delay sequence up to four times, as if it was a sampled loop. With such immense configurability, Stream can create a whole symphony of reflections – from organically chaotic to precisely rhythmic – and anything in between. It’s a delay that looks like a sequencer and a sequencer that works like a delay.

Expanding Sound's Favorite Korg Minilogue XD Presets
New Korg Minilogue XD analog polysynth with multi engine, my favorite 17 factory presets
Published on Mar 28, 2019 Expanding Sound
"I just picked up my new Korg Minilogue XD, and for my money it sounds fantastic. One of my rituals with a new synth is to go through the presets when I first take it out and see what jumps out at me. Some presets make you want to fiddle, some you want to skip, and some are instantly inspiring. I love what Korg has been doing for synths over the last few years, everything from Gadget to the Volca line to the Mini and Monologues. This new Minilogue XD is no exception. It sounds fantastic and huge. Im still learning the synth, but these are 17 presets that just popped right out at me and made me feel like I made the right choice picking this up. I set up my camera and just went through the whole synth, and cut the presets that didn't jump out at me. Forgive my playing as this was just one long video cut up, and most of it is just little jams here and there."
