"Rack version of DW-8000, one of the absolute iconic digital synths from the 1980's, extremely full sound not approached by anything today. Great sounding analog filter, and rare controller that makes programming a breeze, with knob and slider access to all important parameters."

"The Spider is a 256-note step, or 84-note real time digital sequencer to control the Wasp and/or Gnat. It features a few simple controls for entering notes in step or real time and transposing the sequence a semi-tone, whole-tone, major-3rd, or perfect-5th as well as speed controls. Although it has EDP's own pre-MIDI interface for connecting it to other EDP gear, it also had CV/Gate outputs for connecting it to other analog synths too."

"The Resonant Garden is an acoustic-electronic hybrid designed to create anything from beats and oddities to dense soundscapes. From its inception in 2006, the original garden has gone through many changes and refinements; micro garden, luminist garden and illuminist garden and finally this latest and likely final version. The garden essentially utilizes three Alter circuits but each equipped with a mic preamp, and 4 garden (stringed) panels for generating acoustics. By plucking, rubbing, tapping or even bowing, those micro-acoustic sounds become amplified and effected by the Alter in any number of ways."

Load Runner -Pulse Synthesizers/ Granular Synthesizer eurorack module with LCD unboxing

Published on Apr 20, 2019 Dziam Bass

New module. The only previous Pulse Synthsizers post was this one on their Eurorack USB DJ module.

"Today another great package falls into our hands straight from Australia.

An exciting moment because it is the eurorack module from Pulse Synthesizers and the newest Load Runner-Granular Synthesizer module.

The Load Runner granular synthesizer allows you to load 16bit WAV files from USB flash drive into the modules internal memory and playback grains from those samples.

The Selected sample is shown graphically on the LCD from which grains are randomly generated between the start and range lines controlled by front panel and CV.

Grain length density and pitch are also controlled via the front panel or CV.

Three pitch modes are selectable via the settings menu. The grain amplitude envelope is selectable from 10 shapes.
Recording of the module output to USB as a mono 16bit WAV file allows it to be reloaded into memory for granular playback.

There is also the ability to skip between samples using CV, i.e. sample up / down"
