"Instruo showed us two new interesting modules at SuperBooth 2019. Their Lúbadh is a tape looper emulation and the Arbahr is a granular sampler. They both have clever and great looking displays that make it clear what is going on behind the panel."
Polyend Preset Module SuperBooth 2019

"Polyend had two new modules at SuperBooth 2019, the preset which has a series of pads that each hold their own preset for 9 CV outputs. The presets can be switched by manually hitting the pads, a gate, or CV addressed. The second module they had was the Poly 2 which is an updated version of their Midi to CV converter."

"Endorpin.es has a new sequencer module called Ground Control which has a drum sequencer as well as multiple melodic sequencer lines. They also released the Godspeed+ oscillator, Squak Dirty To Me filter, Airstreamer envelope generator, Milky Way effect module and a 2hp power supply. Another new item from Endorphines is a 6U sidepanel for combining two of their cases together."

"The Crumar Composer is an analog paraphonic synthesizer. It has thick sound and combines 5 instruments which are a solo synth, a poly synth, an organ and strings. In the solo synth section there are 5 waveforms to choose from. It can be mixed with the poly synth to create a 3 oscillator instrument. The string section also has a Leslie speaker Bucket Brigade effect.
It also has a breath controller input where you just connect a tube and you can modulate the vca and vcf. it also has what is called touch vibrato in the mono synth section which is created by using you finger on the touch vibrato control.
The unit also offers pitch and modulation wheels for the other synth sections. Interestingly the Composer uses the same CEM chip to VCA, filters and envelope as the Memorymoog, Oberheim OBX, OBXa/OB8, SCI Prophet 5.Less than 400 units were produced by Crumar."

"I am babysitting a Black Corporation Kijimi after Superbooth so I had to put it to use. The Kijimi is played via the Elektron Digitone (no sound), the Juno60 is arping along controlled by the Random Source Serge TKB, rhythms are HP Word Generator. That tube filter is a Krohn-Hite."

"Is this a module we all need? There's certainly a strong argument for it with tap tempo clocks, stereo mixing and headphone/line out. It certainly meets the desire of Music Thing Modular as a module that would be a great first module for small systems. The new clock phasing modes add a nice Steve Reich flare and influence and in 4hp it's a module that's hard to ignore for small or large systems I think. Super useful!
