be moog

"I managed to get the Buchla MARF to play nicely with the Moog Modular. It took a bit of wrangling, mainly by processing the CV out of the MARF to go from 1.2v per octave to the 1v that the Moog needs. I know that it is possible to set the MARF to 1 volt per octave from the back of the unit with some tiny switches, but I would normally be using it with other Buchla modules so I did the voltage scaling with a Moog mixer instead, then used the Dotcom Quantizer. Hopefully you can work out the patch from the video"
5 MINUTES WITH - Memorymoog
Published on Sep 13, 2019 sonicstate
"YES! We finally got to play one, the Memorymoog is a classic, almost mythical, its a 6 voice (yeah we thought 8 too) analogue poly with the Moog filter. Almost a polyphonic Minimoog, but with a few differences. We only had limited time with it, but boy does it sound huge. Thanks to Ham Plaza for the borrow"

Knobcon 2019: Conductive Labs MRCC - MIDI Router Control Centre
Published on Sep 13, 2019 sonicstate
"It is funnny how things go in circles, if you had said that a MIDI router would be an interesting new product in 2019 we probably wouldn't have believed you. However with more and more devices without MIDI thru ports and with different types of MIDI on 3.5MM jacks something like the Conductive Labs MRCC is starting to look very promising.
The workflow of a device like this needs to be simple and effective. The MRCC looks like it covers all those bases. In this video you can see how easy it is to make new MIDI routing options. You can support this project on their kickstarter now."

Published on Sep 13, 2019 sonicstate
"We caught up with Circuit Happy again this year to see what updates they had made to the Missing Link... Misssing Link is a USB and MIDI clock generator with Ableton Link integration.
The idea here is that you can cut down on cable clutter making it much easier to jam with your friends who have different types of devices."
