Arturia Microfreak "Keys in Nostalgia" soundset (50 presets)
Published on Mar 25, 2020 Anton Anru
"«Keys in Nostalgia» is a soundset of 50 keys presets for Arturia Microfreak. The bank of presets is done in/for a kind of melancholic and nostalgic mood: there are Vintage, Lo-Fi and Noisy timbres.
Some of them are mild and pad-like, other are more plucky, also few fx/drone-like timbres are included. And, of course, the majority of the collection consists of the presets with keys articulation.
They can be used in wide range of genres: Dub Techno, Deep, Ambient, Electronica, House, Progressive, Trance, Hip-Hop, R’n’B, Lounge, Chill Out, Cinematic, IDM, Breaks, Drum’n’Bass and others.
All presets are done in Paraphonic mode. Press Mode is set to Velocity.
Firmware version 2 must be installed.

Fault Radio Talks: A conversation with Dave Smith
"We're proud to present to you our first episode of Fault Radio Talks podcast with Grammy winner and the founder of Sequential circuits - Dave Smite.
As part of International Synth Day that took place on May 23rd last year, we caught up with Dave in his office in San Francisco to learn more about his personal and professional journey.
Dave founded Sequential Circuits in 1974 and may be best known for the creation of the Prophet 5 - the world's first fully programmable polyphonic synth that has been used by artists such as David Bowie, Depeche Mode, Madonna, The Pet Shop Boys and more. He graduated from UC Berkeley and among his accolades, he’s been nicknamed the Father of MIDI."

Roland's Forgotten Space Echo
Published on Mar 25, 2020 Alex Ball
"In 1974 Roland released the RE-201 Space Echo. It went on to become the industry standard appearing in studios and live rigs the world over.
They released numerous other successful models (before and after) but the rarest of them all is the RE-5 Digital Space that had a very short run in Japan in 1988.
Its intended application is also quite surprising and in this video we take a look at what it does and contrast it with its famous older brother."
