Moog Prodigy Demo - first impressions and Overview of the 1979 Synthesizer

Maik Schott

"The Moog Prodigy Synthesizer was build from 1979 to 1984 and came - thanks to his affordable price of around 900,00 USD - close to the success of the MiniMoog.

It is a monophonic analog Synthesizer with 2 Oscillators and I will give a lot of sound examples and an overview in combination with the 1010music Toolbox eurorack sequencer."

Level One - Synthwave Track

synthjunk

"An original composition inspired by retro game music and a video paying homage to the games I've played in my youth. All the sounds were created on a C64 computer using the Mssiah cartridge. Taken from my EP called 'C64 is your friend'. Hope this brings some enjoyment and thanks for checking it out."

Z506 Swiss Daisy DSP - DualResonator/ADSR/VCA mode

O.Z. Hall

"This is a demo of the Z506 Swiss Daisy DSP module from Zebra Synth (ZebraSynth.net). The module features an ADSR envelope generator, a VCA on the right half of the module. These functions remain the same with all of the different "Modes". The functionality of the left half of the module changes from mode to mode. The modes are VCO, VCF, Digital Delay, Reverb, Dual Resonator.

This is video covers the Dual Resonator mode. There are two resonators. Each has a center frequency control. They share a common Resonance control. The Wet/Dry control mixes the dry and filtered signal to the output. There is a modulation input to modulate the center frequency of the resonators from an external control voltage. A positive control voltage will increase the Res 1 frequency and decrease the Res 2 frequency."

Patch of the Week 72: Multi-octave “32nd-note” Arpeggiator

Korg

"For our last exploration of 'beyond bass,' we dive into volca bass to create a super-cool multi-octave arpeggio, and go on to use a tempo-synced LFO to make 16 steps sound like 32."
