"Amazing limited edition synth.
The Sidstation is the guts of a Commodore 64 with an analog filter and custom software to bring out the power of the original, NOS chipset. Three syncable oscillators produce 8bit waveforms, with wavetables, ring modulation etc. Can make classic video game tones, but can do much more - has a much more raw and powerful sound than a standard analog synth."

Bokeh Bokeh - Korg Nts1 Volca Modular and Ds10 Jam
ChrisLody
"Well, I'm a bit meh about this one. I've had a bit of a dry patch/mammoth video gaming session over the last couple of months so I've not been making any music. This was an experiment to make something with the Volca Modular and Korg Ds10 with mismatched time signatures, not sure I like the result but there it is.
I've got Korg Ds10 controlling the sync of the Modular and the Modular passing it's audio through the effects on the Nts1.
The video projected over the top is from some old mini dv tapes I got hold of recently. Its film footage of Blackpool Illuminations. There is a section that filmed out of focus that gives a beautiful bokeh effect, trouble is the subtly of it is completely lost when projected like this so I'll probably use that footage for something else in a different way in the future.
Oh well, at least I made something."
Best Ambient Synth Shootout #95: Alesis S4 QuadraSynth - Song 1
Christian's Sonic Spaces
"This is the first song with the S4 QuadraSynth. It's a 64 voice 16-part multitimbral ROM-based synthesizer from the early 90s.
I used for the recording the following FX chain:
S4 QuadraSynth - Roland EF-303 - Digitech Obscura - Pigtronix Echolution 2 Deluxe - GFI System Specular Reverb 2. Depending on the recorded track some FX are deactivated
The signal went through a Presonus StudioLive 16.0.2 into the PC via USB for recording. To create the complete song I recorded consecutively several stereo tracks. The final song was then mastered with a bit EQ and compression on some tracks and some limiting on the master track."

Techno with samples from Berlin - Digitakt sample flipping Tutorial
Dave Mech
"Yeah! Back with another sample flipping video. This one was recorded about a year ago and I have been working on it off and on. Especially the track went through a lot of different iterations. Hope you enjoy this one :) Want me to make more of these? Let me know in the comments!
And the track:
"I built this track completely from samples I recorded during a trip in Berlin in 2019. I released a new video on YouTube where I show you the recording process and how I built this track it. You can download the samples I recorded free or support me by paying something for them (link below). Create something awesome with them and share it with me!"

"Casio KX101 Keyboard Synth Boombox
Cassette, Radio, Synth and Recorder!
An awesome and rare oddity. The Casio KX101 is a rarely spotted and surely on the endangered Synths list. Alas they have not been bred in captivity and we will most likely never see more of them.
Why companies don’t build pieces like anymore is bewildering. It’s looks and sounds amazing and is actually incredibly practical.
For all you collectors we present the Casio KX101. In excellent working condition with acceptable blemishes for a piece from 1984 save for a small crack to the casing near the line inputs and outputs."
