"Organizm follows on from the successful Cosmogonik and Dreddsteppa packs, LDM Design goes for another deep dive, this time bringing natural sounds, atmospheric textures and organic beats. It provides a great selection of resources which can add an organic, natural element to any production, and sound great with ambient, chillout, IDM, techno, tropical & psychedelic styles.

ORGANIZM CONTENTS
The exhaustive collection of 64 finely crafted patches includes metallic and glassy mallets, clear and ethnic flutes, organ-sounding keys, dynamic sentient leads, bulbous basses and atmospheric elemental textures. Many of the sounds have a wide range of variation, utilizing the macros to go from clean to noisy, organic to electronic, from short stabs to long trailing pads.

The high quality samples are built around a carefully recorded selection of hits from a traditional Jordanian frame drum. The selection includes a complete set of raw hits, using a variety of objects, such as palms, sticks, mallets and more. A number of the samples have also been layered and processed, to cut through the mix of any electronic production. Also included are synthesized and FM drum samples which also have a natural feel, and some atmospheric FX.

Within the pack are also 16 sessions / projects to demonstrate a variety of styles and versatile sounds.

The pack uses a consistent set of macro assignments for intuitive play, which mostly follow the suggested macros for the Circuit Tracks."

The pedalboard and power supply are a Voodoo Lab Dingbat Small EX and Pedal Power 3. The Death By Audio Apocalypse provides plenty of distortion, then the Fairfield Circuitry Shallow Water adds modulation and warbling tape effects. Then the Chase Bliss Mood provides delay and looping, the Earthquaker Devices Astral Destiny is a reverb with pitch shifting decays. Then the Empress Effects Zoia can add stereo effects to the end of your chain, you can use it as a drum machine to play along with, or you can run midi in and play it as a synth.

In this video we ran a guitar into the pedalboard and dialed in a few sounds, but you could definitely use this board with a keyboard or modular synth. Since we didn't run the board into an amp we used a Strymon Iridium as an amp simulator at the end of our chain in this video."

"Liquid is my and Timo’s favorite character to benchmark the Neutron Flux with. I happen to have a Feedback 106 chorus in the rack so of course I had to patch it in. This time it’s before the filter to alter the raw Demon Core Oscillator sound rather than effect the filtered sound.

I also patched in a S&H to randomize a voltage in the stereo CV with each gate signal. The change is subtle but the stereo offset makes the envelope to act asymmetric, changing from chord to chord. It animates the stereo image subtly but effectively in the mix."

Go into play mode, press and hold a step and select either a percentage chance for that step to play; or select a ratio of plays to pattern cycles. With a little planning you can get some very long and complex patterns. Added to that is the pattern randomization page with all sorts of options that can be great starters:

Haferflocken Lullaby // Little deFormer 3 + Klangbau Benjolin #TTNM​

"Using my Klangbau Köln/Rob Hordijk Eurorack Modular Synth Benjolin to trigger and modulate Gotharman's Little deFormer 3. MORE INFO BELOW :)

The Benjolin's slow second VCO is the master clock, triggering the Little deFormer 3. The Benjolin's audio (mostly filter pings from the two slow VCOs) is also sent through the LD3, as well as the microphone's Haferflocken Shaker signal. In the LD3 both signals are mixed with three internal sine wave VCOs playing semi-random melodies in D Minor, which change their "pulse widths" during the performance, creating sounds similar to a music box. The Klangbau Joystick CV Processor modulates analog filters and granular effects inside the Little deFormer, as does the Benjolin's Rungler. The clock is affected by the Rungler too, giving the piece non-static rhythms.
