Stairway - Control Pack Plus - MaxforLive Device for Ableton Live by NOISS COKO
Dice - Control Pack Plus - MaxforLive Device for Ableton Live by NOISS COKO
CC Manager - Control Pack Plus - MaxforLive Device for Ableton Live by NOISS COKO

"The Control Pack features seven Max for Live devices (four plus alternative versions), designed as simple tools for randomization, organic expression and precise automation. Format all values and sources produced by these effects as MIDI data to control external instruments, or simply use them to affect any parameter inside Live.

- Create dynamic patterns and sequences.
- Enhance instruments expressive performance.
- Easily map, control and randomize Live parameters.
- Send as MIDI CC, Pitch Bend, Aftertouch, Ft. Control or Mod. Wheel.
- Manage and automate parameters from Push.

This pair of audio and MIDI effects are mostly designed to first capture organic gestures performed in their X/Y panels and use them after as control agents for both external parameters and others within Ableton Live.

Mime features two main sections. The first one creates, records, plays back and saves X/Y coordinates. The second uses them to shape four individual control sources, defining different kinds of MIDI control messages (CC, Pitch Bend, Aftertouch, etc) or simply mapping specific Live parameters from the control outputs located in the Route section.

SitannSpin - MaxforLive Sequencer for Ableton Live by White Horse

DEMO video upload by Isotonik Studios

WALKTHROUGH - SitannSpin - MaxforLive Sequencer for Ableton Live by White Horse

"The SitannSpin MaxforLive device plugin combines two step sequencers in one to be used to generate drums, melodies, or trigger samples.

Using probability and retriggering to generate variations. The complexity and rotation dials ‘focus’ variations in areas that you want. This device is great for adding accents to drum mixes.

Alternatively turn it to a MIDI note generator and you can generate melodies.

You can also separate the plugin into two sequencers and generate bass notes and treble notes.

This is a great ‘swiss army knife’ for your MIDI tool kit. With the drift function you can add high hats that sit back a little in your drum patterns. The variation setting can add a probability or can ‘humanize’ to number of times the drift it applied.

This little device is far more powerful than the playful name implies and can be used as a performance sequencer or as a music composition and creative tool.

Demo ONE - Synth-Hop Novation Circuit Tracks Pack - LDM Designs

video upload by Isotonik Studios

"Although primarily a genre built around the use of vintage samples of real instruments, funk and jazz, hiphop and the wider hiphop-inspired genres have incorporated many synth sounds and of course sampled classic synths. The west coast sounds of Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg drew from the synth sounds of P Funk. Modern expressions of hiphop, such as the LA beatscene which includes Flying Lotus, MNDSGN and Nosaj Thing have fully incorporated synths into their sound, inspired by electronica as much as classic hiphop.

This pack was inspired by such artists, as well as UK hiphop, triphop and leftfield electronic producers as varied as DJ Shadow, Wagon Christ, Dabrye & Boards of Canada.

64 patches range from funk synth basses, lofi dusty keys, woozy synths, glitchy leads and tinkling percussion. The Macros mostly follow the suggested functions of the Circuit Tracks to facilitate an intuitive workflow.

The 64 samples are nearly all drum sounds, featuring many minimally processed funk hits, as well as synthesized hits made with Serum and also given some lofi processing. All of the synthesized hits are pitched to G, including the obligatory 808 bass. The drums can always be processed even more on the actual Circuit using the repitching, distortion and filtering, which is demonstrated in the included Projects/Sessions.

Included are 16 demo Projects/Sessions which include reconstructions and mashups of tracks which provided inspiration for the patch creation, as well as some original ideas.

Arpex - MPE MaxforLive Device for Ableton Live by Mark Towers

video by Isotonik Studios

"ARPEX is an expressive arpeggiator Max for Live device. It works just like a regular arpeggiator with the addition of MPEfunctionality.

Incoming MPE slide and pressure data is used to control the octave transposition and note duration for each individual note.

This means by sliding or applying more pressure to each note, exciting new variations of the arpeggiated pattern can be played, in real-time."

Isotonik Studios JJBURRED - Factorsynth 2

Demo - Factorsynth 2 Isotonik Studios

"Factorsynth is a one-of-its-kind device that uses machine learning to deconstruct any sound into elements. After 2 years of the initial release comes Factorsynth 2, the first major update. Following many user suggestions and requests, version 2 is an even more versatile yet easier to use device, with a simplified workflow and numerous new features. It is now possible to individually pan the components, allowing to do things such as upmixing a mono clip to stereo. Another powerful new feature is the quantized shifting of the components, which allows changing the rhythmic structure of riffs and drum loops. A second, alternative decomposition algorithm is available, as well as a more detailed control of the playback region."

Chaos Culture - Modulat Teaser Trailer - Max For Live Toolkit - Ableton Live - Signal

Published on Nov 6, 2019 Isotonik Studios

"Modulat is a MaxforLive Toolkit of prebuilt modules that you can use to effect parameters, output audio and generally be awesome. Spawn a module from the menu and connect it up using patch cords, this is MaxforLive without the coding! PLEASE NOTE: MaxforLive 8.0.2 is Essential for Use!

Formerly known as Signal, Modulat is a toolbox of modules that can be connected together to create or modify signals from Ableton Live, transform and output them as Audio or control for parameters. Begin by spawning modules from the menu and then connect them with patch cords by clicking on each modules inputs (left) and outputs (right). You can click on any output to monitor its signal within the scope and all modules run at audio rate. Use the Audio In & Out Modules to exchange signals between devices or to send & receive control voltage.

Modulat is a node based / modular playground for control signals such as LFOs, envelopes and automations. Most Max for Live control devices have a lot of issues and limit the possibilities by completely taking over the control of a parameter in Live. Signal uses audio signals for all its calculations and lets you route them however you want giving you a lot more options while keeping the highest quality possible along with staying sample accurate.

Additionally it eliminates chain mapping, where you would use an LFO on another one. Since every mapping in Live introduces a delay as well as CPU usage, chain mapping is not useful at all. With Modulat you only need one mapping to make everything possible. You can always add another signal and keep expanding the setup. Especially by using multiple instances you can use Lives own routing to mix control signals, record them and play them back in any way using the session view, the Looper device or simply by triggering them using Simpler/Sampler.

Additionally Modulat is the only device on the market that provides a workaround to control parameters in sync with Live by compensating for the delay. You can find out more about this workaround on page 10 of the user guide linked below.

The modules in Modulat are versatile, you don’t need a lot of them to create something useful. With a lot of additional features that haven’t been done before, bypassing mapped parameters for example, Signal is the ultimate control device.

With the flexibility Modulat becomes a meta language, you can basically create your own control devices exactly how you like it without actually having to program them in Max. Signal takes away all the work of getting the basics to work and leaves you only with the decision making."

Cosmogonik by LDM Design for Novation Circuit

Demo - Part ONE - Cosmogonik by LDM Design from Isotonik Studios on Vimeo.

Cosmogonik is the first pack for the Novation Circuit from long standing Isotonik Collective member LDM Design. Designed around the theme of Dub Techno you'll find consistent macros and a dark dubby style to the patches, samples and sessions.

We've been banging on at Daniel of LDM Design for monhts now to finish the Novation Circuit Pack he's been working on for ages. Originally inspired when building apps for the ROLI block and controlling the Circuits Synth Engine he;'s taken his love for Techno and expandded it into a mammoth pack of Dubby Goodness.

The Cosmogonik pack is based around the sounds of Dub Techno & Ambient but also influenced by deeper Dubstep and Halfstep DnB, and many of the sounds will work with other minimal and deep genres of electronic music.

Many of the chord sounds are designed to be used with a generous amount of delay and reverb, as can be heard in the included sessions.

In line with our most popular packs for the Novation Circuit the majority of the patches have the same mapping for the Macros except for one or 2 which are a little more customized

Timbre 2

Pack Contents

32 patches
32 samples
16 sessions
Samples include 6 kicks, 8 closed hats, 6 open hats, 5 snares and 7 other percussion/SFX sounds.

New ENVISION SOUND - Strata Ableton Live Controller

Strata - Prototype Demos

Strata - Quick Start Demos [Beta]

via Isotonik Studios:

Over the past few yerar i've lost count of the number of times people have suggested that Isotonik gets into the controller business. I've always wondered whether the truly perfect controller could ever exist with the amount of times that I change my mind and performance template.

But then maybe i've not been approaching it in the right way, what if there was a controller that focused on the functionality of Ableton Live rather than on my specific performance?

That's where Strata comes in, a brand new Ableton Live Controller that's due to launch on Kickstarter in October. I've seen many controllers launch and fail on the platform but i hope this ones different and thought i'd share it with you at this early stage to give the guys behind it as much as a chance of success as i can and so here's some words of introduction from Galen Farrel the driving force behind the project...
