Studio Electronics OMEGA 4 Voice - Limited Edition RED EYE - With ARP, 303, Moog, Obie Filters SN 1343

"Here's a rare and super sweet SE Omega Four Voice in a limited edition Red Eye mod.
The Red Eye factory mods done at the SE factory add some wicked fast Envelopes and a very musical FUZZ overdrive. Also custom loaded are a slew of custom sound patches.
The standard Code / Omega synths come with Oberheim and Moog filters. This Code has added ARP and 303 filters on TWO of the four voices. To utilize them you simply change the status of teh synth engine from 4 voices to two voices and select the 303 or ARP filters.. Then move back to 4 voice for standard Moog / Oberheim. VERY flexible synth that can cover all the classic and modern sonic goodness.
This synth is in great working condition and cosmetics are fantastic as well. Its all in tune and plays / sounds extremely sweet. One thing to note. The FUZZ toggle switch has two settings.. both of them work but the toggle switch does not lock in on one of the two settings. The other Fuzz setting locks perfectly. Never bothered me as the one it locks into is the preferred sound of the two. Otherwise its in great condition in all regards.
These Omega Red Eyes never come up used and only a handful were ever made.. Get this rare piece of synth history at a fraction of what it sold for new."

Godwin String Concert 249

video by Simon Brown
"Made by Italian manufacturer Sisme, the Godwin String Concert 249 has 49 non-velocity sensitive keys. You can mix together the three sound sources (Cello 16' / Viola 8' / Violin 4') and process them through the bass, treble, chorus and tremolo controls. The output section comprises Attack and Sustain and Master Volume. Tuning is done with a rotary control on the rear panel, and the mono output is via a high or low-output 1/4" jack sockets. There is also an expression pedal socket (this is not sustain pedal socket though)."

"Very rare string synth from Godwin, I think made in the 70s and very much in the Solina mould, the String Concert 249 gives the vintage analogue sound and authentic look.
Built in to a tolex case with removable lid and carry handle, which is all in excellent condition with no tears or scuffs, this is a classic analogue string machine with a 4 octave keyboard and hands-on controls for all parameters. Cello, Viola, and Violin voices are 16', 8' and 4' so each 1 octave apart and each layer has a volume slider. There are master treble and bass sliders, Attack and Release settings, and master volume, as well as the unique and dreamy Chorus/Tremolo section with separate sliders for each (rather than the simple on/off switch of say the Solina) giving the ability to vary the classic analogue chorus effect from subtle to swirling and thick."

"Create your own samples or import audio material to create rhythm patterns.
Time Slice function lets you divide a sampled groove into individual samples, allowing you to alter individual steps and change the tempo without affecting the pitch.
The ES-mkII ships with an expanded preload data set – 64 preloaded patterns and 86 preloaded samples – including numerous fresh patterns for the latest hip-hop and R&B styles.
Eleven powerful effects, including an all-new Modulation Delay for extreme sound-creating potential.
Step and Real time sequencing allows you to create patterns quickly and accurately by playing directly on the step or part keys.
Arrange patterns into Pattern Sets for realtime performance, or string them together into full length Songs
Motion Sequence records your real-time filter or effect knob tweaks directly into the pattern or a song.
Resample internally – as you play with the knobs, mute parts, etc. – with no loss in audio quality.
In additional to sampling, the audio inputs allow an external sound source to be processed using the ES-1mkII's knobs and switches. You can also rhythmically gate the audio input as part of a pattern.
Sample, song and pattern data can be saved to SmartMedia. You can also import sample data (WAV or AIFF) via SmartMedia."

Custom Racked Korg MS-20 MINI Synthesizer SN 013269

"This is a customized Korg MS-20 MINI Synthesizer.
2 years ago I traded for this Korg and right away decided that despite it being like new, I hated the keyboard and the control panel graphics were so dimly printed that I couldn't read it in the dimmed lights of the studio. What to do?
Well, I ripped the keyboard and end cheeks out and threw them away. Then I built a pretty Red Oak box for it to live in and bought a brightly colored overlay for the control panel. It is now an attractive, great little desktop midi synth sans keyboard and I have no place to put it in my rig. So it needs a new home.
Please note that the patch bay is missing most of the plastic little fake hex nuts around the jacks. They are flimsy, tend to fall out, get lost or stepped on, and are purely cosmetic imitations of the 1/4" metal hex nuts that the old MS-20 had. I broke a couple cleaning the synth and so I just got rid of them.
So. If you want that great MS-20 sound with an improved appearance and without the crappy keyboard Korg slapped on it, this is your baby."

Roland MC-101 & MC-707 GROOVEBOX v1.7 Update: Scene Chain, Audio Insert Enhancements, and more
video by RolandChannel
"Dig into Version 1.7 for the Roland MC-707 and MC-101 and take your creativity to the next level with the latest GROOVEBOX features and enhancements.
Now it’s easy to create tracks in a more traditional song structure. The new Scene Chain feature can automate the groove and free your focus for other aspects of your performance. Chain Scenes sequentially and set playback length for evolving arrangements, or turn off the chain on a Scene to vamp or transition to new ideas.
The Audio Insert function is fantastic for live applications, turning the MC-101 or MC-707 into a performance mixer for routing external audio into the various effects. V1.7’s updated Audio Insert functionality now allows routing of internal tracks one into the next, creating opportunities to stack MFX for intricate, layered effects textures.
Use the upgraded Chord Designer to auto-assign chords chromatically or diatonically within a selected scale, making it easy to apply changes across all your pads.
No matter how you use it, this feature-packed update is sure to help boost your beats and expand your sound.
In this video, Peter Brown introduces you to the new MC GROOVEBOX features in Version 1.7:
00:00 Intro
00:33 Scene Chain
04:55 Audio Insert Updates
06:25 Chord Designer
