Soma Enner Synth Tutorial Lesson 1: Overview and Basics
video upload by EthanJamesMusic
"This is a tutorials series for anyone who wants to learn how to use the Soma Labs Enner body patching synthesizer electronic instrument. If I get a response to this series, I will try to break things down into small videos that are easy to mentally digest and apply to your own electronic music. We will be exploring both east coast tonal and west coast avant-garde uses of the synthesizer. The Enner is especially good at ambience, noise, and soundscapes for film music.
This first video will give you an overview of the different sections of the synth and show you some of what's possible to do only using your fingers. Please leave a comment with any questions or requests and a like if this was helpful."

"The Quandrantid Swarm is a digital synthesizer that features a percussive element to give it a unique sound. It contains a two-pole analog filter, an LFO with eight waveforms, and a spring reverb. The eight touch keys can be used as a mono keyboard, polyphonic keyboard or an eight-step sequencer. The Quandrantid Swarm has MIDI and CV/Trig connectivity. Its normalized pre-patching allows you start creating immediately, but its semi-modular design allows you to use patch cables to explore the potential of this instrument. Includes original power supply and manual."

"The new Prophet 5 is Dave Smith’s long-awaited return to world of analogue poly synthesis, embodying everything you loved about the original that changed the world. It’s “the best of all Prophet-5s” as Dave puts it because it embodies all three revisions of the legendary synth — Rev1, Rev2, and Rev3 — through the use of genuine Curtis analog VCOs and filters (as in the Rev3) as well as new 2140 low-pass filters designed by Dave Rossum, like the 2040 filters he designed in the original Rev1 and Rev2. The end result is the ideal analogue classic synthesiser capable of all the authentic, muscular tones of the original making this truly a a state-of-the-art modern instrument.
All of this punchy, powerful, analogue goodness, housed in a full, five-octave, semi-weighted Fatar keyboard with USB, MIDI, Gate and CV ins/outs, and a premium-quality, steel and hand-oiled, sustainable black walnut heartwood body that make it as satisfying to behold as it is to hear and play. Near new condition with manual, power cable, poster & sticker!"

"The MKS-50 is a very rare synthesizer module from the mid-80's. It is the rack version of the Alpha-Juno 1 and 2 synthesizers. The MKS-50 is a six-voice polyphonic programmable synthesizer module, featuring a poly mode and a solo mode (that at the time was in vogue to use with a MIDI guitar - so that each string had one voice and MIDI channel - this was before the current crop of MIDI guitar interfaces).
The MKS-50 can store up to 128 "tones", which in turn can combined with performance control functions into 'patches'. There's also a useful "chord" function (when you press one key, a whole chord will sound) that techno/house artists of all kinds used and abused during the early 90s: there are 16 programmable spots for these chords although the factory-programmed ones are some of the most used.
The PG-300 is a very useful companion to the MKS-50, as programming become "immediate" and "hands on".
The sound character of this series of synths is a cross between the Juno and MKS synthesizers - The tone is silky and lush, but with some programming it can definitely sound huge, beautiful and nasty."
