"Luke from MyVolts introduced us to Beat Splitter, a useful little add-on to, for example, a Pocket Operator, which gives control over the left and right channels, managing audio and sync signals. Alongside Beat Splitter is the Slim Slider, a dual fader for control of two channels of audio.

"In a quest to simplify and democratize the modular world, Ae Modular have been expanding their tiny modular system which now boasts 80 modules and multiple third-party designers.

Robert showed us the new VMIX-10, a Volca-sized mixer with 6 mono, 2 stereo channels and 2 fx sends. The VMIX-10 also provides power output for 4 Volcas. We also meet for the first time some super tiny modules which are in sockets and can be switched around on the fly without the need for tools.

"Quanalog is a one-person boutique operation producing beautifully gnarly modules.

Nguyen Do Minh Quan treated us to a demonstration of Boubou, a five-voice filter-based drum module with three compression modes that is also capable of processing external signals. Butterfly is a complex wave-folding VCO capable of singing sweetly or screaming like a banshee.
