"This track emerged while I was just patching up my new setup and testing the CV & MIDI connections. It’s always amazing how little effort it takes to create such a massive sound. It also turned out to be the perfect session to practice my transitions.

Transitions were done via a combination of the Oxi Meta and the DJ filter in the Ohmforce Bohm.

"In today's video I am exploring a new module from Knobula called Monumatic. Monumatic is the successor the Poly Cinematic which was one of the first modules to bring polyphony to eurorack. Monumatic is a significant upgrade in pretty much every way. There are more waveforms, more filters, more effects, and most importantly more modulation! Another of my favourite features is that notes will overlap even using using gate and CV to control the module. This means you're not dependant on MIDI to access polyphony. TLDR: The Move is great. Works really well using the Intellijel MIDI 1U via USB to sync the modular to the Move and send a channel of pitch, gate & velocity.

"This is about Knobula Monumatic - accompanying the forthcoming test in Synthesizer Magazin 110 in german language!

The module can do more, but is also seen as successor to Poly Cinematic. It may sound very different but can also do the Poly Cinematic stuff. There are more CV options, too.
It's especially noteable that it can be used via MIDI, CV/Gate and played in MPE mode as well.
