"This instrument looks absolutely stunning in person. The kind of beauty only seen in the days when keyboards actually were beautiful instruments like guitars. All parts intact, knobs, buttons, lights, wheel, all functions working. Keyboard is level with fresh bushings. Plays and feels like new. Unit serviced by Outliner Audio in Chicago, and required no repair and was not even recommended for recapping.

This instrument is beautiful, historical, and begs to be played!"

Korg OpSix // Glitch Ambient [no external FX]

video upload by Dexba

"I have always been curious about the new line from Korg, including the OpSix, Wavestate, and Modwave, but I've never had the chance to try one in person.
A friend of mine came to the rescue, and he lent me his OpSix (while he got the chance to keep my Digitone, a sort of FM Exchange Program, if you will).
At first, I wasn't impressed by the raw sound quality.
Many of the FX are so so, the basic filters are plain out garbage, and the general accessibility is still not my favorite, especially coming from a PRO3 or the aforementioned Digitone.
BUT, I decided, as my usual, to just completely MISUSE the instrument, so I tried to create a 'modular' patch, to let the Poly-6 filter shine, move stuff with LFO, granularize with the more than welcome FX, and in the end have fun. I can't say I am ready to change my (mostly negative) opinion on the instrument, but it sure has some sweet spots here and there, and I'd like to share them with you.
Hope you'll enjoy ✨"

Eyesy Video Synth + Buchla Easel Command: A Test Run

video upload by Matt Lowery

"I’m working on a reactive visual setup with the Eyesy Video Synthesizer, and this was a test run. It’s not perfect, and there are some things I’ve already tweaked. BUT, it is kind of fun, so I thought I’d share.

It’s a fairly simple setup. I’ve laid a sheet of semi-opaque acrylic on top of an old TV, and am running Eyesy into its HDMI port. I think I’ll try a projector next.

Sound source is the Buchla Easel Command 208c, being sequenced by a Torso T-1. In the DAW, some granular stuff is added via Pitchloop89, and I also round-tripped the audio through a Joranalogue Enhance 2.

Hope you enjoy this weird little field trip."
