"Fully functioning and restored - Sequential Circuits Prophet 600 Synthesizer.. The unit was not working and I held on to it since then. I decided last year in March to have it repaired. It would light up but not boot to program mode. I sent the unit to one of the absolute best technicians possible for this type of instruments. The unit was sent to David Sesnak of Wine Country Productions in San Jose, California. He could not believe how great the condition of this unit was cosmetically. All repairs he made totaled $746. I had him install the GliGli update as well. The wood sides are original."

Miso Cornflakes | Granular Synth Engine with Harmonizer vs. Arbhar & Morphagene

video upload by Cinematic Laboratory

"I love granular synthesis and I felt I had enough modules and hardware to scratch every granular itch. Miso (Denmark) introduced the Cornflakes a year ago, but I did not feel it would add something to my Arbhar, Nebulae, Morphagene, Clouds, Beads, BitBox and the mighty GR-1 from Tasty Chips. Not to mention the awesome PC software... I was so wrong. This little gem is worth checking out, especially if you're thinking about your first granular module."

OXI ONE and Habit, with Collider and MicroFreak - Cabin jam

video upload by Waveformer

"Last week, my MicroFreak got two new friends - the OXI ONE sequencer and the Habit effects pedal. Both of these are wonderful compositional and real-time performance tools, which is what I explore in this improvised ambient jam. The video has jam notes included as text overlays.

Thank you to OXI Instruments and Chase Bliss for allowing me to buy the ONE and the Habit at a reduced price.

The audio is recorded to SD card on a Zoom H5 and normalized in Audacity. Video is recorded on a Canon EOS M50 mk2 with the included EF-M 15-45mm lens. Audio and video is synchronized in DaVinci Resolve 17.

Gear used:
- Arturia MicroFreak
- OXI ONE sequencer
- Chase Bliss Habit effects pedal
- Source Audio Collider effects pedal
- Zoom H5 (for recording)

Audio connections:
- MicroFreak - Habit - Collider - Zoom H5

MIDI connections:
- OXI ONE - MicroFreak"

V.A.I. 56 Elka Wilgamat / Multivox MX-3000

video upload by Vintage Audio Institute Italia

"With a little help from external effects, the Wilgamat auto accompaniment machine really shines brighter than a lot of the other Tanz-nite units out there.
It's a good match with the rare Multivox MX-3000 in our opinion, lots of wonky tones you really don't get out of your standard Roland / Korg gear.

The Multivox synthesizer is really a 4 section divide down string machine and poly synth with an added Monophonic synth section.
It's a little reminiscent of the Crumar Composer but the polyphonic section really has more going on - with a great filter, slide and glide modulation, two different choruses and on and on.
We're still exploring the complete set of possibilities of this beast of a string machine / mono combo. It might even make a great cappuccino.

Vintage Audio Institute is a gear vendor and recording facility in Florence Italy - we make these videos for fun in our spare time."

Yamaha AN1X as Modular Synthesizer Demo Nr 2 HQ Sound no talking

video upload by js-sound

"I love it and so I make presets for it and a bunch of YouTube demos! AN1X is cool and it's not so "modern" as Montage, XF, XS (all this are Lighthouse without lights from a modern Yamaha manufacturer). I ask you not to buy anything from current Yamaha production! And only then will these devils begin to move in the right direction. They have to lose their income before they stop making decisions with their asses."
