"This is a very nice looking system-100 that has been recently serviced by Steiner-Connolly in Utah. Everything works great on this unit and its ready to head off to a new home.
The system-100 is a one oscillator mono-synth, but don't let that fool you. This thing packs a punch with bass, and the filter is known to be similar or the exact same as the famous TB-303. Here is an interesting and versatile way to access the acid sound!"

EMEAPP SONIC TEST DRIVE: REALISTIC CONCERTMATE MG-1 FEAT. DON SLEPIAN
video upload by EMEAPP
"What do you get when you throw Moog into a blender with Radio Shack? The Realistic Concertmate MG-1, of course! Similar to the Moog Rogue, the MG-1differs in that it adds an organlike polyphonic mode that even routes through the synth filter. Some folks love it, others not so much, but electronic music pioneer Don Slepian will give you the intel so you can decide."

Morphor AP-1 Kick, Hi-hat, Bass-line
video upload by Morphor
"Matthew got his hands on three Morphor AP-1 modules and made a little melody to show off the versatility of the modules. There are some kick, hi-hat and, of course, bass-line sounds which were created with a few extra filters and LFO's. Let us know what you think and visit our website https://morphor.io for more info on the AP-1 Plectrum and other modules from /\/\orphor."
Abyss Devices - Tube distortions compared
video upload by John Schussler
"Abyss Devices makes a couple different tube-based distortions. The Saevitum is bigger, with a resonant LP/HP filter attached, and Saevicus is smaller with no (resonant) filter. Both use 12AX7 tubes and similar amp circuitry, so I was interested to see where their sounds differed or were the same.
Since the Saevicus doesn't have a resonant filter (it has as filter, but it serves mostly as a simple tone control), I focused on the distortion sounds from each module, with my main question being whether the smaller Saevicus was missing anything in that department, or whether it was just as growly as its big brother.
Input audio was a basic saw wave from a Doepfer A-111. Sequenced by Stochastic IG. Envelope by Zadar.

What if Hans Zimmer had used more ambient synths on "Time" (Inception Soundtrack)
video upload by NGC0 Music
"Hans Zimmer is one of my biggest inspirations in Music, and Inception is one of my favorite movies of all time, so I've always wanted to reproduce the soundtracks of this movie. Here I "cheated" a bit, by using the original soundtrack, and pitching it down, making it slower and lower-pitched, before I started adding synthesizer layers on it. I've also processed the original sample to add a lot of ambience.
The synth I've used is the DSI OB-6, and these patches I used are all standard patches, which are among the reasons why I've bought this synth, definitely one of the best poly synths ever made"
