ESK - Osmose with Digitone or Microwave
video upload by Metunar
"Short Demo with the Expressive E Osmose synthesizer in Midi mode. Not with MPE but with the multi channel setup. No sound from the Osmose, only from the external synth.
I tried different synths (GS Music e7, Tasty Chips GR-1, EMU Virtuoso 2000) together with the Osmose but only with the Elektron Digitone and Waldorf Microwave i got in a short time good results.
Direct recording without mastering.

Nelasma - "Crushed" - Dramatic Orchestral Melodic Techno - Modular Synth Live Jam - DFAM
video upload by Nelasma
"Oh my I did it again this weekend and now I'm coughing around again... sigh... at least its not as bad as three weeks ago... tho I wanna have fun again without getting sick hahaha... A-NY-WAY!
I still managed to get together some kinda orchestral vibe techno jam for you good people! Actually wanted to finally make DFAM the main actor but well.. while playing around I made those sweet stabs on the ensemble oscillator and that inspired me for the rest of the jam.
Like in the last jam I wanted to experiment more with the delay and used some bit crushing algorithm from nautilus. Sounds kinda broken sometimes but fits the vibes and the state of my immune system.
Unto the end I managed to dial in some phase cancellation of the Bassdrum which is normally a no-no for me but well.. It was still ok and since it was clocked it still was kinda rhythmical.
So yeah a little jam with broken sickness vibes haha..
And hopefully I'm back at my 100% soon.
As always raw into OBS, no post processing, intentions and mistakes ;)
Timeline:
00:00 Start/Violin Broken Delay Rise
01:19 Beaaaaaat
01:47 Beat with hats and introducing some more elements
02:32 Giving DFAM some more space and reintroduce the violin
03:11 Break
03:39 Beat with lots of noise haha...
04:00 Letting the hat vibe some more
04:52 Trying some more violin
05:46 Ending it
Stars of the show:
- #ensembleoscillator from #4ms
- #aurora from QuBit
- #nautilus from QuBit
- #mimeophon from MakeNoise
- #dfam from #moog
#qubitelectronix #makenoise"

Sequential Circuits Pro One

"The Sequential Pro One is a fantastic monosynth. This one is in great condition with little to no use by me ... had it recently serviced to get it up to snuff . It comes from the same period and genre as the Roland and Moog . The Pro One was basically Sequential's attempt at taking their legendary poly-synth and packing it into a compact monophonic analog synth. It has two VCOs, a great 4-pole lowpass filter, two ADSR envelopes (one for filter), and a compact three-octave keyboard. With a Pro-One, you can easily create punchy analog bass-lines and leads or quirky analog synth effects.
The Pro One is an extremely flexible synth with lots of modulation possibilities (ie: the filter, VCO B and LFO can modulate VCO A or B frequencies or pulse widths, or the VCF). There's also an onboard sequencer, something common on many Sequential synths but not often found on other monosynths of the time. Also onboard is an arpeggiator which has UP and UP/DOWN patterns."

Korg KMS-30 Vintage - Midi Tape Din Sync - Synchronizer SN 001281
Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.
via this auction
You can find modern synchronization devices at Innerclock Systems. Note, you can always get to them via their banner on the right of the site.

As for the KMS-30:
"Amazing synchronizer from Korg for all older Hardware with DIN Sync (by example Roland TR 808, TR 606, TB 303, TR 909…) to get them with MIDI synchronized.
It was used very often by Richie Hawtin aka Plastikman back in the 90ies.
You can also double and half the rhythm tempo with it.
Background:
Before MIDI introduced a standard system, every manufacturer had its own protocol. Roland used Sync24, or 24 pulses per quarter note. Korg, however, used Sync48, or 48 pulses per quarter note. Try syncing a Korg device to a Roland device and they won’t be running in time – one will be playing at half the speed of the other!
Item is in good condition (one small scratch on the front plate) and works perfect"
