INTRANINE / full system eurorack jam / outboard mixer and effects
video upload by BRiES
"I'm going from the modular to the mixer with a Voltage Vibes breakout module and a bunch of adapter cables (I still need to drill a hole in the back of my case so the cable mess is out of sight/out of mind).
In this video I'm using 2 stereo outputs routed to my interface, but there's a third stereo group connected just in case I need 3 seperate stems. One group is going through a DBX 1066 compressor. The mixer channel for the kick is wired into the SC input on the compressor so I can do some ducking if I want.
I have a few eurorack effects connected to the aux sends on the mixer and the Lexicon MPX500 is connected to an aux as well. Now I can send reverbs into delays and back again with the twist of (a few) knob(s).
I'm very pleased with how it all turned out. There is some groundloop but it's very silent (less than -40dB) so I'm going to ignore it.
I already had this large mixer (A&H GL2200), I just wasn't using it (in fact it was obnoxiously in my way) so by going this route I actually created some space and saved money in the process. The eurorack solution for all of this flexibility is unfortunately far more expensive than the cost of a few XLR and adapter cables."

Tiptop Buchla 245t to Cycle 281t
video upload by Todd Barton
"Using the 245t Sequencer to engage the Cycling input on the 281t then sending that to various parameters on the 258t Dual Oscillator. Basically taking a nondescript sequence and giving is it some dramatic character.

Paul sticks to his promise
video upload by Paul McGowan, PS Audio
I get a kick out of watching PS Audio's videos. Paul comes across as a great guy, but when will he play that Moog?! He's just laughing at us!
And no, he doesn't play it in this video. It just appears in the background of some of his videos. This time it's patched up though, so someone was tinkering around with it. Hmm... Curious what the patch sounds like.
On the book:
"As promised, as soon as Paul's new book, The Aurora Project is ready, you will be the first to know. Here it is! A thriller you can't put down. Help Paul launch his new book. Go to https://www.amazon.com/Aurora-Project... or simply type The Aurora Project into an Amazon search field. And, thank you."

"Requested demonstration of using the Facehugger to control a Sound of Shadows PT2399 delay module. Again, a lot of noodling and experimenting.
I have to say, that I honestly wasn't expecting much with this ne but oh boy, was I wrong. This was a LOT of fun. I really wasn't expecting a lot of what came out of this.

Round 1: Circuit Tracks vs Circuit Rhythm // Novation Live
video upload by NovationTV
"Watch Novation’s US Product Specialist Team - Shanda, Evan, John, Kody, and Casey - as they all use the same sound pack to create different songs, whilst showing the key performative differences between Circuit Tracks and Circuit Rhythm, in this live producer jam.
Circuit Tracks is an extraordinary standalone groovebox for the modern producer. With two refined polyphonic digital synth tracks, four drum tracks, creative FX and on-the-go capabilities, it’s the perfect hands-on device for the agile music maker.
Circuit Rhythm is the powerful and versatile standalone sampler for the modern beatmaker. Samples can be recorded directly to the hardware, then sliced sculpted, reversed, looped, resampled and played chromatically — all in the box. Grid FX invigorate your live performances, with lo-fi tape, stutter, beat repeat effects, and more.

EaganMatrix Programming for Osmose using the CVC
video upload by EaganMatrix Programming
"Tested out the CVC connected to Osmose using the Haken Editor and CVC based presets that Expressive E provides in the Utility category. Here's a presentation on the fundamentals of using the CVC both in stand-alone default mode (options selectable in the editor) and programmed through the EaganMatrix.
Note that the Evaton Technologies 'uCVC"' also works if you are primarily interested in monophonic CVC connection (you can chain two together for duophonic operation) but that is not covered here as most will want to maximize using all four CVC channels with Osmose.
Note I also testing downloading Pitch Table Editor (PTE) tunings to the Osmose and they seem to work ok (though the editor is still visually geared for Continuum). So you can explore micro tunings and customer scales including importing Scala files on your modular setup using this connection though I don't go into great detail as PTE is its own video."
