"Possibly the best Techno and “Roland TR Inspired” drum rack unit with faithful 808 and 909 sounds, multiple outs, tons of editing, full MIDI and a DIN Sync-24 out to clock old 303’s to a DAW. 8 editable percussion voices in the D-Station vs the older Novation Drumstation which had 5 - 8 is perfect for complex rhythm DAW/sequencer programming.

Velocity sensitive across sounds plus accent per original and very tweakable + MIDI CC from all knobs. Presets allow program saves for mixed simultaneous 808/909 sound sets."

"Purchased from a synth tech in the UK circa 2017 who had fully serviced it, kept in smoke free studios since then. Internal battery was just replaced by a tech in Brooklyn, who also installed a battery holder (originally soldered in) so memory should be good for another 3+ years and easy to change next time. LED screen is in pretty good shape."

"Son's Uni project - all synths are vintage, already recorded using MC4 and live playing. Roland 100m (x4), Jupiter 8 and others. Last stage is to record in the TR808. This is synced using a Pro Solo with Sync24. Battles with old gear as usual - the Fill button on the TR808 is temperamental and sometimes doesn't trigger the fills."
