"Melbourne Electronic Sound Studio (MESS) holds the largest collection of electronic instruments in the Southern Hemisphere. It’s home to 1400 synthesizers, drum machines and other electronic making equipment.
We zeroed in on two synthesizers in particular, the ARP 2600, which provided the iconic voice of R2-D2 in Star Wars, and the Fairlight CMI, which was made in Australia and changed synthesizer history."

"A little demo of a the last available Godwin Drummaker 45 for sale - just back from extensive repairs it sounds marvelous!
Some spring reverb and echo from the Solton Cathedral E-2000 unit.
Condition is very good with some oxidation on front panel which tend to happen with these - we put down some anti-oxidation to halt it in its tracks so should not deteriorate further down the line.
The keys of the keyboard have some minor scratches and miss-coloration up close.
We demo the one finger mode towards the end of the video - along with the Orchestral arpeggiator mode - good fun."

The keyboard has a new all-black paint job and a new cable.
I cannot stress enough how damn cool these machines are - check the video demo of this very unit for sale here.
Condition is very good with some oxidation on front panel which tend to happen with these - we put down some anti-oxidation to halt it in its tracks so should not deteriorate further down the line.

"Amazingly rare machine - Most likely this was made by Bugari in Italy in the early 80s or late 70s.
There's no brand logo or serial number number anywhere on the machine so we can't say for sure who made this but it's a professionally, mass produced unit.
It's likely controlled by an external controller such as a foot pedal or accordion.
Lots of sound presets and and what are most likely rhythmic options on the front panel.
The idea would be to build a controller for it but right now there are too many other projects lined up.
It looks almost new inside and out with some light oxidation on the handle on top and metal plate underneath.
It sports 2 hardwired cables : 1 for external controller and 1 for the on board (thank god!) power supply with long cable with regular Italian 3 prong power connector at the end.
220 volt version with EU plug.

We’ve had 5 of these now and we’re starting to get a hang of how to get them sounding right.
This one’s has had little use - front panel looks amazing - some smaller, hairpin scratches on metal piece and plastic corners and a few smaller spots on the tolex that might go away with some patience. The feet have been removed - not a bad idea.
These machines are old - 1968-1970 - they don't like other machines or metal surfaces - they start humming immediately - so don't stack them on top of other instruments, amps or any metal / electric current loaded surface."

"Very fun monophonic and polyphonic string machine combo from Italy up for sale - only selling since we have two.
Great preset sounds on both mono and poly section, love the monophonic filter, lush independent string machine acts as an independent third section, you can route the poly section and string section to the mono section and route an external audio source to the filter section - lots on board ;)
Just back from an extensive service and sounding truly amazing.
It has some scratches and dings, the colours of the preset buttons are a bit faded, the music stand plastic strip that's on top has been broken off at the middle, a small piece of plastic is missing on the front panel and one wooden side has a piece that's been re-done, but overall condition is definitely a strong good - please take a look at the photos.
The after-touch modulation is controlled by a lightbulb inside that worked up until just now but now seems to go out after some time after it’s turned on - we can get that fixed but will cost a bit extra so up to buyer - current price is as-is.
The after touch does not affect the mono filter - could be a calibration or factory issue - we have two units here and none of them lets after touch modulate the filter."

"The repair included a re-wiring of the transformer, a recapped power supply, a ton of transistors have been switched out along with the master tone generator - the wooden sides have been repaired and the whole wooden structure has been re-enforced and has a fresh varnish.
Includes original glass music stand and schematics.
This one has seen some action but overall impact is really not bad: some wear and oxidation on the front panel and minor dings on the corners of the wood.
A small piece of the plastic music stand strip is missing and two burn marks on the keys are visible on close inspection.
The glass music stand has a few scratches - mostly smaller ones visible only when held up against a light."

"A full walkthrough off the functions of Analog Solutions AMPLE. Its a 3 oscillator mono synth with its own version of a sequencer ... the PATTERNATOR. Not a knitting obsessed android from the future, but an unique take on an analog sequencer. All tied together with a pin matrix and with some extra control form the interval generator.
If you've ever wondered how you'd use something like this you've come to the right place. I demo the sound engine, how to use the matrix (it's not like a VST!) and put together some idea for the patternator, Snare Drum Noise and the beat pulses.
