Isobutane - Remember Me (2006)
video upload by Isobutane
"There were times when my only piece of equipment was the Yamaha RM1x. While going through some old floppy discs I’ve came across some really old tracks from around 2005-2007. I was surprised how playful and full of energy these are. Technically and soundwise they are all pretty funky but I was really stunned by the liveliness of these old projects. So I’m like…yeah let’s share em. Maybe some people will even remember some of these from the past live shows. Shees that was ages ago… Ok, let’s go. 6/7
This is called Remember Me and it was made in 2006."
How to make electronic dance music (with drum machine & synth)
video upload by mylarmelodies
"This is an absolute beginner's introduction to making & performing music with a drum machine and a synth, plus setup and gear recommendations. I'm using the very excellent Roland TR-8 drum machine and T-8 "TB-303-style" synth. I'll explain the very basics of how to compose and perform on these machines, explain how they're connected, whether you need a mixer, and suggest other starter gear you might consider if you want to begin exploring computer-free music making."

Krell 2 0
video upload by Todd Barton
"This evening I thought about revisiting my original Krell [posted in 2012 here] and giving it another tweak...
Headphones or studio monitors recommended."
DX5 performing The Human League "The Sound of the Crowd"
video upload by DX5
"A simple but interesting song not much known by the early days of The Human League V2 (when the female vocalists joined). If you don't know the original version, check it out. I found it catchy, specially the chorus. So I decided to pick my two analogues plus the JP8000 and give it a try
Gear used:
Left:
Roland MRS2 Promars: single VCO bass (and extra sub bass on backtrack)
Roland JP8000: Cross Mod lead
Right:
Korg Polysix: Sawtooth lead
Backtrack previously recorded, instrument by instrument, on Pro Tools (just drums and the extra sub bass). Original song composed by Phil Oakey, Ian Burden.
Performed here by DX5 Jose Maria Bara"

Massive Buchla 100 / 200 Based Eurorack System

"This is a very focused eurorack system that sounds just like Buchla, and allows you to have a huge amount of modules in a small portion of the space a 'real' Buchla system would take up. And for much less money. Although this system contains some extremely rare modules, we’re still pricing it below the MSRP according to Modular Grid. To be safe, we added high shipping (we will refund the difference when it costs less).
Now there are a ton of Low Pass Gates, which is one of the keys to the Buchla sound. There is a dual lowpass filter, and the Sharp cutoff filter that does bandpass or simultaneous high and low passes. I like running sine/saw waves into Tokyo Gate into the Sharp filter into the other channel on the Tokyo gate, while modulating one half the oscillator with the audio output of the other half and vice versa. There are 8 oscillators. The TTMC square waves sound really good. Envelope follower, preamp, CV amp, rare TTMC modules, like inverter, phase shifter. Two different touch pad modules for manual playing or for transposing the sequence. The TTMC and TipTop sequencers also play well together. We also will include two TTMC mults that weren’t in the photographs.
In the photos all of the rack ears have been removed, but we will include them or reattach them if you prefer. We’re hoping a whale comes along and snaps this system up whole. It’s ready to go. Powered, racked, and ready to Bongo. If not, we might itemize it and sell it off individually, or keep it. Who knows."

Trogotronic Vacuum Tube eurorack System

We’re also including a small rack with the perfect angle, and a 4ms power supply. The tube modules all have inputs on the front and back for their own power supplies, which means they don’t draw hardly anything from your case’s power. In fact, the m676 doesn’t connect to the flying bus at all! So this shows up ready to plug in and play.
We recently did a few big trades, and bought something substantial, so we’re letting this system go, as well as our huge Buchla clone system. So ist das. Agis quod agis. Yada yada yada.

X-Plorations Vol 2 - Sequential Prophet X - Patches 1 to 32 (of 128)
video upload by GEOSynths
"Out Soon
So, it's been almost 4 Years since I worked on the Prophet X and then released X-Plorations Vol 1. While it does have some amazing Factory Samples from 8DIO, which i have used, I was a little disappointed in the Synth Samples, so I sampled 14 of my Synths, just the Oscillators wide open over many Octaves and EVERY note.
Of course, the Prophet X has onboard VA Oscillators and when combined with the Samples, you can make the Prophet X sound amazing. As mentioned, for Volume 1 I sampled 14 of my Synths to make 43 Sample Sets, these are the Synths I used.
Moog Grandmother
Behringer VC-340
Dreadbox Erebus
Moog Sirin
Roland SE-02
Moog One
Behringer CAT
Novation BS2
Moog Matriarch
Moog Subsequent 37
Dreadbox Typhon
Analogue Solutions Leipzig-S
Cheetah MS6
Sequential OB6
With Vol 2, I have extended this with 17 more Sample Sets from my Synth Collection, again EVERY note over multiple octaves. This time, some have FM Modulations and Wavetable changes captured, using the following:
Majella Audio Implexus
Analogue Solutions Fusebox
Behringer 2600
Arturia Polybrute
Novation Summit (Wavetables)
Nord Wave 2 (Linear FM)
