Erica Synths Nightverb just HITS on all marks.
video upload by Ricky Tinez
"The Erica Synths Nightverb is a standout reverb effects unit, balancing playability, flexibility, and sound design, even if it sacrifices a bit on size. Much like the Zen Delay, Erica Synths clearly prioritized playability in this design. The Nightverb's controls keep you in the sweet spot, allowing you to explore everything from massive off-earth cathedral reverb to intimate club backroom vibes.
Whether you're performing live or experimenting in the studio, this is a reverb unit that is top of mind when I need a playable effect when performing live"

Meng Qi Wing Pinger + Eventide H90 // Shadows and Lights
video upload by Dexba
"The Wing Pinger is not easy to process: it sports two outputs which are... double mono?
Not really, and I will show you why soon in the upcoming tutorial (long in the making, I know).
But that's also why I decided to keep one pedal, and that pedal is the H90, which allows for extensive customization of the inputs, and it's modular in its own way.
I created this new preset for the Eventide H90, called Noise Glue, which is a combination of a 4-head delay + tape saturation to keep everything cohesive, and I think it complements beautifully the sound echoing war chants and drums on the battlefield, juxtaposed to the few plucks of melodic rain here and there.
It is always very hard to share a recording of the Wing Pinger, because the lengthy drones and ear-massaging FM sounds do not translate well as a format on YouTube or as a recording: it really is an instrument to be touched and felt."

PaSSBot v3 is ready.
video upload by sonicLAB
"PaSSBot makes complex modulation easy and musically intuitive by turning even lifeless sonic material into animated textures."
See this previous post for a tutorial by CatSynth of the original release.
"PaSSBot is a unique stochastic filter bank plugin. a cloud of filters with complex modulation capabilities driving up to 64 unique parallel instances.
It is also structurally the base of sonicLAB Fundamental, where the latter owes most of its features to the PaSSBot.
PaSSBot filter types are Biquad, StateVariableFilter, Ladder, Resonator and SEM filter implementations. With behaviors of bandpass, Lo + Hipass, and Notch types and up to 64 of them in true stereo !
The user can set values of center frequency, gain and resonance of the each filter, which will be then eloborated with powerful stochastic generators ( 4 independent GENs ) with continuous or discrete probabilistic distributions but also with standard waveforms.
a cloud of filters with organic character..
PaSSBot has a rich time domain modulation scheme at your finger which operates on various parameters.
individual behavior or harmonic relations
You can set each filter parameters individually, but also distribute them in harmonic order, again the harmonic spread ratio can be set by the user or even can be modulated by a GEN.
Be it stochastic complex control-waveforms to interact with or simple touches, this calculated data serving to the filter bank create musical soundscapes instantly.
Tuning scales can be deployed to tune the filter center frequencies.
For independent GEN's for each filter (modulation generators ) with loads of stochastic distribution sources. This makes upto 64 x 4 GENs running in parallel..
Each GEN can modulate a different parameter: Center freq, filter gain, filter bandwidth, harmonic spread ratio and stereo spatialization.
You can tune the filter fequencies to musical scales. PaSSBot can read .scala format scale files.
True two channel behavior for stereo imaging, and each filter position can be modulated on the stereo field.
The filter can run continuously or be triggered manually. In that case, each filter will be applied an independent AR envelope with configurable random duration.
Precision DSP rendering, less than 1milisec. control rate precision and at the same time CPU friendly." https://www.sonic-lab.com/passbot/

Sequential Prophet REV2 patch Inspired by Hania Rani live at Invalides Paris Cercle
video upload by Expectaz
"Sound design on the Sequential Prophet REV2 inspired by Hania Rani. She played a live set for Cercle at Invalides Paris which I think sounds amazing. The sound isn't 100% the same, but the vibe is there I think!
I have a sound expansion for this amazing synth:" [posted here]
🏹 Intellijel Plonk 🏹 🎧 (no talking) 🎧
video upload by Cutoff Frequency - gear stuff (no talking)
"This is a video demonstrating the sounds of the Intellijel Plonk Physical Modelling Percussion Synthesizer.
Intellijel are so well known in the Eurorack domain. They make very durable and inventive gear. Unfortunately their stuff is quite expensive, but hey, as a gear junkie I cannot ignore them. The Plonk is such a wonderful module. I always love these physical modelling synths because they are really dynamic and responsive and they feel like real instruments. In addition it has an incredible amount of sonic possibilities ranging from snare drums to synth basses to guitar strings and on and on. If you can afford it, I would definitely recommend this module."
EP 1 - New 2500 Modules - AM1004P Oscillator Mixer
video upload by O.Z. Hall
"This video is the first in a series on a number of new modules from Amsynths which are companions to the Behringer ARP 2500 series of eurorack modules.
Besides introducing the series, this video explores the AM1004P expander from Amsynths for the Behringer 1004 VCO in the 2500 series.
Here are excerpts from Amsynths description of this module:
The AM1004P module enables the Behringer 1004 module to be transformed from a T (toggle) version into a P (potentiometer version).
The AM1004P module has individual outputs available on jack sockets. Each waveform can also be mixed, using five small trimmer potentiometers, into the output channel, which has an overall MIX LEVEL potentiometer. and two mix jack socket outputs.
The AMSynths AM1004P fills in a piece of history by recreating the original ARP design using a Behringer 1004 module as a basis for expansion.

Compact jam on Circuit Tracks & MicroMonsta 2
video upload by Jay Hosking
"A live synthesizer jam performed entirely on hardware.
Sometimes it's nice to go back to the basics. The Novation Circuit was my entry point to the world of hardware in 2018, and while I've mostly moved on from the Circuit, it's so nice to go back to sometimes. Here, I'm using the Circuit Tracks—a worthy successor to the original, thanks to its additional two sequencing tracks—for two synths and drums, plus as the sequencer and mixer for the additional voices from the Audiothingies MicroMonsta 2.
The MicroMonsta 2 is one of those handy devices that does exactly what you need when you need it. It's super small and fits in any table setup, is bitimbral, has effects, and most importantly, sounds pretty good. Here, I stumbled into a sort of arp/pad crossover thing (thought I was recording a mono line, and accidentally recorded some pleasing polyphony) and, thanks to the hands-on filter control and its reverb, got me a lot of movement. For the second voice, I thought I'd demonstrate the less polite side of the MM2, and I love how huge the bass sound is. I only wish the MM2 were more readily available for those who want it!
Together, this little setup gives me four voices of synths, drums, effects, sidechaining to the kick, and some performance options. It was a great reminder of why I fell in love with grooveboxes, and why I love hardware in general.
Thanks for listening.
