"Classic original Oberheim Eight-Voice in very good condition, checked over by Kent Spong and found not to need any servicing. With both lids. 110V, and probably best to keep it that way, and use a good 240-110V external converter (unless you're in US / Canada etc, of course!)."

"This is as good an example as you are likely to find of the classic Polymoog Keyboard, serial number 1581 - i.e. the Polymoog Synthesizer before Moog introduced the preset version and called that the Keyboard. Seriously overhauled by Dani at Hideaway in March 2023, with a new switch-mode power supply (Artesyn NFS40-7610 as recommended), and thorough service of the whole machine, including replacing all socketed CMOS MUX ICs, LEDs and CD4007 transistor arrays, replacing divider ICs where needed, etc. etc. Total cost around £1000. The Polymoog then sat here for a year, as there were other Polymoogs in the 2023 auctions. We fired it up in March 2024, and after re-seating Polycom cards and replacing one which had developed a noticeable tonal difference - and reseating a ribbon cable - everything worked exactly as it should. You should be aware that Polymoogs are notorious for cables and cards needing re-seating after moving, so expect to have to do that after a courier journey. It's also important if possible to have two people lifting it, because if it's only one, it's more likely for the chassis to flex a little and cause bad connections.
It was listed in the April 2024 auction, and was won by an overseas bidder. We palletised it, and then ... the buyer found out he'd lost his job, and couldn't pay. So it's sat for six months, beautifully cocooned in packing, shock-protected on its pallet, ready to try again. Cosmetically it has some tape on one bottom edge, and the fablon inlay is missing from the tops of the end cheeks - no loss, really. The 0 button is worn. The keyboard has some slight uneven-ness to the eye but plays beautifully. Dani points out that the preset buttons are only the start to the process of finding excellent sounds - and with the huge amount of control and the massively varied outputs, the Polymoog is wonderful for that. It is simply a synth unlike any other. We had a special pallet made (with good shock protection): 60GBP."

"This original Jupiter-6 was sold in the April auction, but the buyer got into financial difficulties and here it is, back at VEMIA for a second bite of the cherry. (It actually never left the building.) It's a great sounding synth and iconic, too, as the joint first synth to feature MIDI.
As an added bonus, this example, serial number 260387, comes from Orbital with signed provenance. The one break with tradition is that the end cheeks have been replaced with wooden ones. Very good overall condition for something of this age. One of the little illuminated switches (for the LPF) is partly broken but still works fine. UK/Euro voltage - you'll just need an IEC lead for your country. Packing 18GBP."

"Here’s a chance to own a Roland Juno-60 in exceptional condition, preserved with care over the decades. This unit has been kept in a smoke-free studio since the 90s, with barely a scratch to show for its age. It was owned by a musician, making it a special piece for any collector or enthusiast. Immaculate Condition: All parts are original, with no repairs or modifications. [VEMIA note: it looks gorgeous, but there are a few little scuffs, so we've changed the cosmetics to near mint.] Reliable Performance: Everything functions smoothly, delivering the classic, warm sounds the Juno-60 is known for. Great Find: A rare opportunity to purchase a unit in this condition with such a history. If you’re looking for a Juno-60 that combines rich vintage tones with a well-preserved history, this one is worth considering."
