Pics of the inside below.

"Closet clean 1978 Roland Jupiter 4! By far the cleanest example to come through our doors. Just fully serviced and calibrated by our in-house technician along with replacing all of the lilac electrolytic capacitors. Includes original owner's manual! We love that original 70s Roland synth look with the nice chunky design, shiny knobs and preset control panel below the keys, one of the later models with this aesthetic. The sound is nice and warm due to the VCOs but it is easy to see how Roland's other polysynths evolved from this point. The layout is very similar to the Junos with a simple but effective control scheme that is hard to make a bad sound with. Of course this is a very early computer controlled synthesizer as well, allowing saving of 8 user presets, compuphonic! Its truely an amazing experience playing the Jupiter 4. It is incredible sounding and such a breeze to program, don't forget the amazing ensemble effect and built in arpeggiator. The LFO can even reach up to audio rate allowing for some awesome polyphonic filter oscillator FM. Its easy to see why the Jupiter 4 is an absolute classic. Serial No. 790790"

"The Moog Source is a monophonic Z80 microprocessor-controlled analog synthesizer manufactured from 1981 to 1985.

The Source was Moog's first synthesizer to offer patch memory storage. The design was also the first (and only) Moog synthesizer to feature a flat-panel membrane keyboard to replace the standard buttons, knobs and sliders, along with multihued panel graphics that were very different from anything Moog offered at the time.

Service notes:

Power supply: replaced electrolytic capacitors, cleaned off old heat sink compound and added fresh HSC
Processor PCB: replaced electrolytic capacitors, replaced memory battery. Cleaned CPU IC pins and socket, cleaned pin headers and connectors, cleaned flex ribbon cables from control panel switches
Analog PCB: replaced electrolytic capacitors, repaired broken circuit trace damaged by impropper hardware used on back panel, cleaned all pin headers and connectorts, cleaned pins and sockets on several op-amps

Other service notes:
-Cleaned volume and tune controls
-Cleaned optical sensor/control wheel
-Reglued wooden panels to chassis to prevent rubbing against control wheel
-Cleaned internally and removed debris
-Cleaned chassis and switch panel
-Cleaned knobs and mod/bend wheels and mod/pitch pots
-Calibrated tested several hours then recalibrated
-Reloaded and saved factory presets to memory"

"Hohner String Melody II also known as Logan String Melody II. It sounds like Solina or Eminent 310. The Hohner String Melody II is famous used by Ed Swillms, Founder, Writer and Keyboard Player from the East German Band 'Karat', played in their Songs 'über sieben Brücken' (over seven bridges) or 'Blauer Planet' (blue planet)."

"A new track from my latest album.
All sounds including drums were made on a Kawai K4r Synthesizer.
Midi sequencing using the MPC2500.
I believe the K4 released in 1989 is a very underrated synth.
Thanks for checking out my music"

SILHOUETTE

BRAIDED SIGNAL COMBINER ILLUMINATED IN TWO PLANES

Sounds and shapes outlined in SILHOUETTE. Animated foregrounds of analogue delay, set among a backdrop in texturized stereo. At once mixer, scanner, bus compression and reverb.

Built around a focal system defined by SPOT, lighting signals from a ring of 6 inputs. Here we find LIGHT and SHADOW, the latter pushed out in time through a dynamically filtered BBD delay. Together defining a foreground; a point of interest; focused; sharp.

The remaining assortment collected; a background; context and shape. A second stereo pair, LEFT and RIGHT, dynamically peering through a LENS. Control dynamics in simple VCA style, side-chained to the SPOTlit signal, or expanded to shorten transients and make space. Fill in the gaps with BLUR, smearing the background in time for rich ambient trails leaning into lush sweeping strings.

At its heart patch-programmable -- internally for dramatic feedback & oscillations -- cross-patched for extra drama. Very capable in a large system to fold complexity, but shining in tiny cases with feedback. A joyful micro-modular with Just Friends and crow, shaping sounds, or sounding shapes.

Beyond mere combination, SILHOUETTE pulls signals into relationship. Whether in full quadraphonic space, cohesive stereo sets, or dynamic & nimble singularities. See your sounds; hear great sights.
