303 Day 2025 - Making a pattern with the Xoxbox

"Again an anti-purist celebration of a classic Roland machine: I'll celebrate #303day with you today with the first clone of the classic silver box, the Xoxbox.
I'll show you how to program a pattern with it and how to jam with a drum machine via midi while in pattern edit mode, so you can keep playing around with the bassline."

"1st test of the new version of the SynthR10 : A performance combining left-hand arpeggiator (mode created) and right-hand polysynths, with aftertouch (monophonic with this keyboard). The effects are internal, made by Yves Usson.

"Une fois n'est pas coutume, un petit speech sur le SynthR10 et son architecture basique sonore. (pour ceux qui ne seront pas au Synthfest)
Le SynthR10 est un polyphonique analogique 10 voies (2 cartes de 5 voies chacune, appelé A et B).
Chaque voie = 2 VCOs + 1 sub, 2 VCFs, 1 VCA, 2 LFOs analogiques et enveloppes commandés en tension.
Mode polyphonique : lecture des patchs avec panneau actif, pas de sauvegarde.(genre preset)
Mode "Load" (user) : on charge les patchs pour enregistrer les modifications
Mode Performance : 2 patchs en split ou layer (5 voies chaque), Arpeggiateur + synthé, Sequence + Synthé.
Il y a aussi un petit sequenceur looper intuitif ....
Mode unisson : mode monophonique jusqu’à 10 VCOs sur une note.

"5U modular synthesizer song. Using the LinnStrument 128 and synthesizers.com Q174 MIDI Interface to play into the modular. The main voice was a pair of Synthetic Sound Labs TZ-VC Oscillators and a Yusynth ARP 4072 Filter. Bass line was the Q960 step sequencer to DOve D100 and D110 VCO's on to the Drove G294A filter. A kick drum is from the SSL Woven Spirits.The FX fluttering sound is the Dove D900 sequencer to a pair of STG Oscillators. The noise chuff sounds are the WCRS module into a MOTM 440 filter and delay.
The mid-section is the LinnStrument in arpeggiator mode for the bass line (a pair of Q106's through the Q107 filter) and for the upper arpeggiation (the TZ-VC osc pair through an Oakley SVF. The offbeat sequence is the Dove D900 through the STG oscillators and the Dove D502 filter. The pad sound is generated by the STG Voltage Mini Store to a pair of Q206 vco's and the Q150 filter to a Canyon Delay pedal."
