ANA Patch - Voltage to Trigger Sequence Converter
video upload by Mystic Circuits
"Here is a patch where we use Ana to extract a pair of trigger sequences from an incoming voltage sequence using the BOX output. While BOX normally outputs a 3-level square wave involving a positive and negative pulse, we can use a second ANA to invert the BOX signal for our second trigger sequence as most trigger inputs will ignore the negative portion of the signal. This patch can give you some interesting ways to riff on an incoming musical theme either by turning knobs or with incoming modulation. It's also a great example of the advantages of analog logic over digital logic, even when we are expecting gates at our output we are processing continuous voltages and getting useful behavior from it.
I am going to just mention that the editing on this video is a little sloppy, I am doing a lot of experiments with the filming setup as I am figuring out how to streamline filming/ editing/ posting as much as possible. There has been some experimentation with lighting, camera positioning, etc. during this process so I appreciate your patience as we figure this out."
Having fun with a small Larix Elektro eurorack system
video upload by Stazma
"Today I'll show you some cool patches on a small system built around the Larix Elektro modules: Ritournelle CV & Trig Generator and the beast that is the Dual Undula.
These are awesome to improvise rhythms, synth riff and all sort of abstract bleeps very quickly. You can also process sounds in various ways with the Dual Undula so we will check that out as well.
Have fun!

Kontrol S-Series MK3 Arp mode | Native Instruments
video upload by Native Instruments
"Kontrol S-Series keyboards now come with Arp on board, opening up a load of new possibilities for shaping your note sequences.
Arpeggio is a chord played one note at a time, in a sequence, rather than all notes simultaneously. And arpeggiator (or Arp) is a feature that automates this process.
To get set up using the Arp feature, update the Hardware Connection service in Native Access. Then go here, to download the new firmware for your keyboard ni.de/kontrol-update/

My favorite track by JMJ.
Souvenir Of China by Jean Michel Jarre from the album The Concerts in China (1982)
Featured the Oberheim OB-X, the Moog Taurus bass pedals and the E-MU Emulator II (original Fairlight)
This cover song series contains my own recreations of my favourite songs from the last 50 years. The original music from which I take inspiration belong to their respective owners. I recreate tracks only for personal passion and to pay homage to these tracks.
My intention is not to create covers that sound exactly like the original (if you want to hear identical sounds, please listen the original). It's more of an inspiration with my sounds from the old synthesizers from the past and of course the great appreciation for the original performers and producers."
Synthpop w/ OP-1 field, YAMAHA RX17, CS01 | Progress 2025-04-03 by atnr
video upload by atnr
"A piece created using the OP-1 field, YAMAHA CS01, and RX17—bringing together 80s drum machine beats and analog synth sounds.
The harmonies come from a @SequentialLLC Prophet-10, the bass from a @MoogSynthesizers Grandmother, and the arpeggiated parts from a @NordKeyboards Nord Lead. All of these are triggered via MIDI from the DAW.
The RX17 is processed with reverb and delay using the @gfisys SPECULAR TEMPUS.
On the CS01, I play while applying reverb and flanger from the @KORG_INC NTS-3."
PlantsSystem-RadioKey
video upload by plantssystem
"The warm and deep synth sound of the SEQUENTIAL Prophet-5 and the radio noise captured by the SONY SkySensor. The two intersected to create 'RadioKey'.
The rich filter changes of the Prophet-5 create an organic sound, and the minute noise and random sound changes picked up by the Sky Sensor add a unique texture to the song.
The sound is nostalgic yet new, and will draw the listener in.
"RadioKey" weaves together the expressive power of analog equipment and the unpredictable elements of radio.
It is a one-of-a-kind sound experience where chance and necessity intersect.
