Synthesizer archeology - DIY Modular from early 2000.

"Too big for live performances, it finally serves me in the studio for a strange and very personal project: De Secretis naturae.

It's a series of tracks built only using this synthesizer and a few other tools, all homemade.
The goal is to recreate natural environments, using the synthetic sounds produced with my machines.
A kind of fake field recording.

The last chapter, of the 2 tracks, has just been released:


That's it, this musical release was an opportunity to present this old pre-LE modular…

ARP Quadra demo after restoration

"Flashback to June 2013! ⏪ I just completed a full restoration of my 70s ARP Quadra synthesizer. I drove from Belgium to Switzerland just to get it. It wasn't making any sound. The restoration was extensive. Had to spend many hours on it. After the restoration was finished, I posted this video on YouTube. It was still early days on YouTube. Suddenly, thousands of people all over the world were watching this video – just me noodling around on this rare synthesizer. I wasn't even playing a song! It blew my mind. That's when it crossed my mind: 'What if I turned these vintage synth noodlings into actual songs and teamed up with a singer?' That is where the first spark of Munatix was ignited. We're so grateful for everyone who's been on this journey with us! Stick around, more is coming!"
