This is a 5-minute modular synth sketch, inspired by Stranger Things, vintage analog synth textures, and 1980s sci-fi soundtracks. Simple and cinematic, this patch was built around moody arpeggios, deep pads, and classic analog tones. It was mixed and mastered in post to bring out the atmosphere."

"In this video, I demo all 50 patches from my new J3PO OB Tribute library for Spectrasonics' Omnisphere--a patch bank dedicated to the legendary Oberheim synthesizers.

This collection is inspired by the iconic Oberheim synths: OB-X, OB-Xa, OB-8, OB-6, Matrix-12, and the Two Voice Pro. Every patch was built inside Omnisphere using Oberheim-style oscillators and filters, with a few custom samples from my own Oberheim synths to bring even more analog character into the mix.

In this demo, I use the OB-6 strictly as a MIDI controller to play the sounds (and for some visual homage to the great OB synthesizers). All the sounds you are hearing are coming from within Omnisphere--including the FX.

"Playing around with the ELKA Elkatwin 61. An analog string machine with 2 identical voices (3xOrgan, 3xStrings, Accordion, Vibes, 2xPiano, Clavichord, Guitar, 2xBrass) with a symphonic effect each.
There is as well a rotary and a phaser effect and a bass voice section.
Direct recording with a little reverb from the MPC ONE and soft mastering on the DAW.
