"A little jam on the Modor DR-2, using a 10:16 polyrhythmic clock on the kick and claps.
The kicks fall in most patterns on the 1st, 3rd and 4th step of a 5 step-pattern compressed into the time of 4 beats. The bottle ticking on top works as a regular 4/4 'metronome'.
Models used: String Bassdrum, Filter Claps, Hihat, Marching Snare, Bottle and Crash Cymbal.
The Marching Snare gets some random extra hits on top of the programmed pattern, for a constant little variation in the pattern."

"A piece for piano, monome norns shield, and ‪@buchlausa‬ Music Easel—a post-classical track combining a recorded piano loop, randomly auto-played electronic tones, and live piano performance.

The piano is a YAMAHA CP-88. On norns shield, I run barcode to play back a roughly six-second, single-note piano phrase recorded in advance. The Music Easel outputs random arpeggiator phrases routed through ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ MOOD MK II for delay."

"Snippet of a longer jam to showcase the Yamaha PSS-14 through the Moog Minifooger MF-05 Analog Delay pedal. Rhythm Wolf is providing some backing track. Recorded into the Zoom L-12 and then edited in Logic. The Rhythm Wolf has some compression and EQ applied in Logic, but the PSS-14 is unprocessed."

"Playing chord progressions to show off my favorite JX-8P Preset patches - Eric Persing just began programming presets for Roland synths, this for the JX-8P was his very first of perhaps the most illustrious patch-programming career; he's most famous for the Roland D-50 sounds, especially #1 Fantasia which found its way into the GM General MIDI standard patch map (if you don't know it by name, you'll still recognize it), he did all the JV- and XV- later ROMplers too and I think XV-5080 may have been his last. I was raised to think that using presets without any editing is just lazy... but with the JX-8P they just sound perfect to my ears."
