Pocket Scion and Torso S4 with the Rosemary plant

"Hi folks!

This time I’m diving into something a little different again — biofeedback music! I paired the new ‪@instruo‬ Pocket Scion with the Torso S4, and the Pocket Scion is running three MIDI channels on the S4. For this session, I hooked it up to a rosemary plant, letting it capture the plant’s biofeedback and translate it into sound.

The result? Dreamy, spherical tones straight from this beautiful plant.

"This video features an live performance highlighting the Hikari MONOS from ‪@hikarimachi‬ , a unique synthesizer that generates a wide range of noise textures and rhythmic patterns through combination of a noise generator and an oscillating low-pass filter. The performance was recorded live, going through goes through a mixer with Delay & Reverb send (UAFX Starlight Echo Station & Golden Reverberator), then lightly mixed and mastered in Pro Tools. Enjoy!

The performance also features the Triad, a three-oscillator drone (and more!) synth by ‪@decadebridge‬

"This video documents an improvised performance featuring the Triad, a compact drone synth (and much more!) from UK-based synth designer/manufacturer ​⁠​⁠‪@decadebridge‬, processed live through the Paragraphs II, a low-pass filter from ​⁠​⁠‪@vongonelectronics‬ , and through a stereo reverb/delay send (off camera). The recording was then lightly mixed and mastered in Pro Tools. Enjoy!"

This boutique synth from Destiny+ is the Programma 900 2.0 Harmonic Musical Computer, a unique synth built on FPGA and arm cortex technology. It offers loads of experimental sound design potential and is one of the most esoteric devices I've ever laid eyes on. All of Kirkis' stuff at {D+} is like that, and ever since discovering this boutique U.K.-based synth designer, I've been itching to get my hands on a device and try and crack the code! I finally have one of these pieces, and it didn't come cheap. So I plan on sharing every bit of information I can in hopes of sharing this unique object of musical interest with the world.
