Compact yet powerful, it delivers the iconic Prophet-series sound in a hands-on design that’s become a must-have for serious synth players and collectors.

This Pro One is in excellent condition. It includes the original shipping box (and if being shipped, this is the box it will ship to you in) and manual (which has some writing in it). This Pro One was serviced by Synthchaser in September 2025. Work done included:

Recapped all original tantalum capacitors
Replaced original unreliable membrane style keybed with Fatar keybed
Cleaned pots & switches
Tuned & calibrated"

Its user interface, though button-based, is considered intuitive for its time, aided by a clear LCD screen. This particular unit is in lovely working condition, running OS 3.5 and includes a VOL.1 factory sound cartridge. Keys have faded to a mellow yellow color, looks perfectly vintage!"

Hydrasynth Presets with Juno 60 / 106 style analog chorus

"Decided to do another video about the Hydrasynth trying to capture that magical Roland Juno 106 and Juno 60 using presets I programmed. Using the magic of bucket brigade analog chorus.

You can see me turning off the chorus on the Hydrasynth sometimes, and sometimes leaving it on because it sounds better to my ears. If you turn off the Hydrasynth chorus it can be better because it doesn’t sound over the top and cause phasing that makes it sound worse.

When you see the cost of plugin chorus like Roland cloud Juno 60 chorus for $160 but then you can buy and analog chorus that does (imo) an even better job for $120 you might think the world has gone crazy lol ( the in version 2 of the chorus pedal - much better)

You can’t hear the Hydrasynth effects of the built chorus here when the pedal is off because you have to use a mono out into the stereo chorus.

"Well I had an ideas to make famous synthesizer sounds for Hydrasynth and give them away. I’ll drop the link tomorrow, I am falling asleep, as usual it took 5 times longer than I thought to everything done.

I started off with Ben Bohmer and Beyond abeles lead, I though why not to a modern track mixed in with vintage ones.

Then Daft Punk, Europe- the final Countdown, Duran Duran, Axel F Harold Faltemyer and the unison sweep from Rush originally on the OBx I think.

So much nostalgia in these classic synth sound and very happy with the results"

We proudly present our unique set of presets for the Roland Alpha Juno and MKS50 synthesizer series. We've gone to great lengths to create highly usable sounds for this unique synth. The sounds are ideal for (melodic) techno and house, electro, synth pop, ambient, EDM, and other forms of (electronic) music. Check out our demo to get a feel for the sounds.

We've paid close attention to the playability and expressiveness of the presets. Most presets are velocity-sensitive or use aftertouch to control the filter. Ideal for dance music.

The presets are 100% compatible with all models of the Roland Alpha Juno series, including the Alpha Juno 1 (JU-1), Alpha Juno 2 (JU-2), the Roland Synth Plus 10 (HS-10), Roland Synth Plus 80 (HS-80), the MKS-50, and the TAL TAL-Pha Plugin. For the Roland MKS-50, we've included an additional sysex file in which the tone names are copied to the patches. We did this because the MKS-50 has a slightly different architecture than the Alpha Juno series.
