1. Pitch Knob-from super low to super high

2. Distortion/Noise Activate Toggle Switch-turns on/off distortion effect

3. 1 Touch Contact-bends pitch down

4. Glitch Activate Toggle Switch #1-turns on/off glitching effect that can repeat glitch at keypress

5. Glitch Activate Toggle Switch #2-turns on/off glitching effect that is random

6. Loop #1 Momentary Toggle Switch-use to catch loops-momentarily switch to the up position

7. Loop #1 Toggle Switch-works in conjunction with the above in that it will hold loop-switch to the up position to hold

8. Loop #2 Momentary Toggle Switch-works the same as #1 except that loops are more harsh- switch to the down position

Tenori-On for iOS Supports CoreMIDI In and Out

If you look at the product description for TNR-i (iTunes link), Yamaha's Tenori-On for iOS, you will find no mention of MIDI support. In this previous post featuring a video and link to a review by Dan303 you will find mention of MIDI in via CoreMIDI over USB for control over various parameters. I followed up with Dan303 on whether it supports MIDI out for controlling your external gear, and sure enough it does. Via Dan303:

"It does support midi out with A different channel for all of the 16 layers. I've had it working through the camera connection kit going into my Korg R3 and Ableton."
