Sequencer Madness
video upload by George Benton
"Using the Q963 Trigger Buss to select which of the 8 triggers goes to the Q960 or the Q119. This creates some interesting patterns. Each Seq has a voice going to left and right channel.
Adding some delays and reverbs.
Lots of stereo image going down."

PERCUSSA UPDATES SSP EURORACK MODULE SOFTWARE, ADDING 3D GRAPHICS, NEW PLUGIN SDK, SCANNING OSCILLATOR MODULE AND MORE
May 2nd, 2022 (Los Angeles, CA) Percussa, makers of the Super Signal Processor (SSP) Eurorack module, are set to return to the SUPERBOOTH show in Berlin, May 12-14 2022, since the COVID-19 pandemic started, and are presenting a major software update for the Percussa SSP.
Percussa has been working on a software update for the SSP since its last participation in the show in 2019, featuring a complete graphics rewrite, leveraging the previously unused GPU processor on the SSP, for accelerated 2D and 3D graphics. Additionally, the SSP's plugin SDK has been updated to enable plugin developers to use the GPU as well for 2D or 3D graphics via OpenGL(ES).
Graphics acceleration on the SSP and GPU support in the plugin SDK were stretch goals which were not reached during the succesfully funded Percussa SSP kickstarter campaign back in 2017. With this update, users will receive the features planned in these stretch goals, and the benefits of accelerated graphics and increased DSP power.
In addition to increased DSP power, audio processing optimizations, and accelerated graphics, the update features countless bug fixes and improved memory management, and comes with a new "3D wave scanning" oscillator, developed by Percussa, featuring GPU powered raytraced 3D graphics.
Since the last SUPERBOOTH show, Percussa has released several incremental updates and fixes for the SSP software, enabling 24-channel USB audio support, improving MIDI MPE support as well as improvements to the step sequencer, sampler and direct to disk recorder.
In addition to the new software update, open source developer and SSP power user @thetechnobear (Mark Harris) is releasing over 10 new plugins for the Percussa SSP, and will be demoing these daily at the Percussa SSP table at the SUPERBOOTH show. Mark has also started contributing recently to the main SSP application software, in addition to his plugin contributions, which include countless modules such as a performance mixer, matrix switchers and mixers, sample and hold modules, utility modules, and ports of open source modules such as Clouds, Rings and Plaits. More information about @thetechnobear's work can be found at https://forum.percussa.com/t/thetechnobears-vsts-development/941/. Including @thetechnobear's plugins, the SSP now offers more than 50 modules in total.
The new software update is currently in BETA with the release version to be made publicly available by the end of June. The update will be available via the Percussa forum at https://forum.percussa.com/. Percussa has also opened up pre-orders for the next production batch of SSPs. The SSP can be ordered via your favourite eurorack dealer, or on Percussa's website at https://www.percussa.com
Blue Lantern Gleba VCF // Walkthrough & Demo
video upload by Robots Are Red
"In this video we take a look at the brand new VCF by Blue Lantern Modules, Gleba. Based on the VCF from BLM's Dwarf Star Semi Modular Synthesizer, Gleba crams a lot of fun functionality into only 10hp.
This VCF has:
- Two audio inputs, one with attenuator
- 12db Low Pass/Band Pass/High pass filter with mix & match switches
- A screaming self oscillating resonance sine wave
- Limit switch to squash those middle frequencies for a more metallic-like tone similar to the MS-20
- Two Subharmonics Generators, 1 and 2 octaves lower
- FM modulation input with attenuverter
- CV control over resonance and frequency (with 1v/oct tracking)
- A built in VCA that is bypassed when left unpatched.
Filter, crunch up, or add character to your sounds. Use it as an oscillator, a crunchy rudimentary EQ, as a nice squelchy filter, and so much more.
Special thanks to Blue Lantern for providing the the module for the video."
Update:
Gleba Part 2 // Multi-Mode VCF/VCA by Blue Lantern Modules - Patch tips and Q Trimmer Demo
video upload by Robots Are Red
"It smells like it is time for #2! In this video we look at a few more patch examples with Gleba, as well as toning down the resonance to more classic filter levels with the Q Trimmer.
The patches covered in this video are an acid bass, gated drums, and chords through Gleba."

"This Poly 61 is fully functional and in good condition
The KORG Poly-61 is a programmable polyphonic synthesizer released by Korg in 1982 as their follow-up to the Polysix. It features 2 DCO's per voice, a discrete resonant low-pass VCF, and is the first synth by korg to be designed around the parameter menu & value selector user interface."

"This JX-3P is fully functional and in great condition.
The JX-3P is a six voice polyphonic analog synthesizer with a single slider editing interface. It features 2 digitally controlled oscillators with sync and cross-mod, sawtooth, square, pulse waveforms, a noise generator, 1 LFO, 1 ADSR and a 24dB OTA based (IR3109) Lowpass filter. It has 32 factory and 32 user writable patches of memory and a built-in 128-step polyphonic sequencerer with external trigger input.
Its architecture is similar to that of the Juno series synthesizers produced around the same time. Both machines employ the same interval-timer DCO technology, have a single digitally generated envelope generator, the Roland IR3109 low-pass filter, a discrete VCA, and on-board stereo chorus effect. The Juno line had only a single DCO (with sub-oscillator) per voice, while the JX-3P had two distinct DCOs with detuning and several cross-modulation modes. Also unlike the Juno, the JX-3P allows the pitch of either oscillator to be controlled by its envelope generator."

"The JX-8P is a lovely sounding 8 voice analog poly synth with similar voice architecture to the JX-3P and Roland Juno series. The voice is actually quite a bit more complex than the Junos. What is gained in oscillators and modulation sources is lost in the real time control, however. There are only program buttons where numbers are typed and a single parameter slider is adjusted. This keyboard can be expanded with the Roland PG-800 programmer or connected up to an IOS app through MIDI for full access to all the controls.
This keyboard overall is in excellent condition. All of the membrane buttons and sliders function perfectly. 2-prong AC power cable included."

"The D-50 is a very interesting digital synth that combines PCM samples with Roland's linear arithmatic synthesis method, a style of digital subtractive synthesis. The PCM samples are providing the attack sound and the LAS section will ring out or sustain. In practice some very lovely and complex sounds are easy to achieve with the D-50.
This synth is in great shape and works perfectly with just some minor cosmetic wear for its age. Includes 4 extra rom cards as pictured and original AC power cable."

"Like its cousin the D-50, it is a digital 'linear synth' with analog filtering. It has all of the vibe, depth and nostalgia of a D50, with more modern editable parameters on the face of the synth - Not to mention the presets are pretty incredible. Great pad machine - ripping leads.
For those in the know, this thing is one of Roland's crowning achievements. However, also those in the know will know that the key-beds were definitely not: they are notorious for the deteriorating red glue that wrecked the beds of every single one over time. This one is no different, however I have carefully removed all of the red glue and attempted to restore the keys to working condition. That being said they still have some issues with velocity sensitivity, and aftertouch. However, those with a midi interface and or keyboard can easily have this thing fully shredding in no time."
