András Eichstaedt Live @ HEKTIK Vienna 2016

András Eichstaedt Live @ HEKTIK Vienna 2016 from Andras Eichstaedt on Vimeo.

"In this cut i use the new firmware of the BASTL instruments GrandPa, wich can change the samples via CV, and the Roland Scooper to get a beat out of the mostly random patch running in my Modular. The overdriven warps come from Mutable instruments Peaks, and a Dopefer A-120 Low Pass Filter, that is slightly below self oscillation. Peaks is sequenced by a Beatstep pro, wich also clocks and resets a Doepfer Quad Sequential Switch, that switches between Peaks and GrandPa. A Second grandPa is used to play different atmospheric samples as a background. The performance was recorded at FLUC Vienna with line audio plugged in a soundcard, and is not processed."

Doepfer A-100 Eurorack Analog Modular Synthesizer with Extras

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction

Comes with a binder of the owner's manual.

"This is the perfect Eurorack synthesizer for anyone who wants to get into the world of analog modular synthesis. I purchased this Eurorack roughly six months ago from Analogue Haven, and it is in pristine condition. I have been the only user to ever touch it, and I have cared for it like a priest cares for a holy object. It has never traveled anywhere and never ever been outdoors, and it's been kept in a ventilated space that's never gone above 76 degrees or below 60 degrees Farenheit. I designed this rack to be both MIDI-capable, so that you can seamlessly integrate this with your DAWs (Ableton, Cubase, Pro Tools, etc.), midi controllers, and all other midi-capable equipment. Also, it has both consumer and professional line outs (+4dBu for left and right) in 1/4 inch and 1/8 inch or 3.5mm for an easy signal path straight to any mixer, audio interface (ADC), speakers, or amplifier. It's as easy to plug in as an electric guitar!

And speaking of cables, it comes with 64, fully functioning 3.5mm (1/8 inch) high-quality patch cables.

Although this analog modular synthesizer is perfect for entry-level musicians and sound designers, it is by no means limited. This has every vital module that is required to experiment, compose, and produce music utilizing the most important and powerful aspects of analog synthesis. While a full listing of modules can be found below, major components include dual oscillators, dual ADSR envelope generators, dual filters, dual ring modulators, dual amplifiers, dual mixers, dual LFOs, dual sequencers (yes, that's right), dual buffered multiples, a dual quantizer, and a dual delay. Here is the full listing of Eurorack modules:

2 X Doepfer A-140 ADSR (ENVELOPE GENERATOR)
1 X Doepfer A-130 VCA (Linear)

For a further in-depth visual guide to all the modules and the entire rack, google the ModularGRID website. Once there, search 'first doepfer A-100' and you can see this rack's profile.

REASON FOR SELLING: Life circumstances have forced me to journey someplace far, far away, and I cannot take my beloved synthesizer with me. This is painful moment and I would never sell this if I didn't have to. This is a perfect piece of musical machinery, and anyone who buys it will be very lucky."

DOEPFER A-120 24dB Low Pass 1 (VCF1) eurorack module

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction

"Module A-120 is a voltage controlled low-pass filter, which filters out the higher parts of the sound spectrum, and lets lower frequencies pass through. The Cut-Off Frequency determines the point at which filtering takes effect. You can control this manually, or by voltage control (filter modulation, for instance by an LFO). Three CV inputs are available, and the sum of the voltages from these affects the filter cut-off.
The module is based on a so-called "transistor ladder" design, with a cut-off slope of -24 dB/octave, as in various Moog synthesizers. That's what gives it its classic, legendary Moog sound.
Resonance (or Emphasis) is adjustable all the way up to self-oscillation - in which case the filter behaves like a sine wave oscillator."

DOEPFER A-103 18dB Low Pass 1 (VCF6) eurorack module

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction

"Module A-103 is a voltage controlled low pass filter with 18dB/octave slope. The circuit is based on a modified transistor ladder (Moog ladder) and is a reproduction of the legendary TB303 filter. As for the rest the A-103 is identical to the A-120 Moog low pass filter (same controls, inputs/outputs) only the filter sound is different."

Doepfer A-102 Diode Low Pass (VCF9) EMS Filter Module For Eurorack

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.
via this auction
analoglsd (RSS)

"Module A-102 is a reproduction of the legendary low pass filter design that uses diodes in the filter stage as frequency controlling elements resulting in "strange" resonance behaviour and frequency response as resonance and frequency are not independent from another.

As for the rest the A-102 is identical to the A-120 Moog low pass filter resp. the A-103 (18dB TB303 Filter). I.e. the same controls, inputs and outputs. Only the filter sound is different:

manual control of filter frequency
3 CV inputs (CV1, CV2, CV3), 2 of them with attenuator (CV2, CV3)
input level control
resonance control up to self oscillation (depends upon the frequency setting for the A-102)"
