"One day while working, I passed this beautiful ruined 15th century chapel.
I knew immediately that I wanted to come back here to make music.

So I got up on this beautiful summer morning and drove to the chapel.

This is one of my very first live performances using the MPC Live 2 paired with the Elektron Digitakt and the amazing Microfreak by Arturia.

While the sequences run, I recorder the sounds of nature also in realtime with the Zoom H5.

As I was about to end the set, suddenly the frogs around me startet singing.

So I kept the set running and enjoyed what was happening.

That inspired me a lot - and I´ve always wanted to make this kind of music myself.

This is my first try, using the unbelieveable Akai MPC Live 2.

I´ve recorded a sequence, set all up and here we go."

"Well, seriuosly - I think the Sinewave of the Prophet sounds beautiful.
Although the Oscillators are digital, they sound really beautiful.

While programming a totally different patch, I had to programm a sine wave patch to complete it.

That was the moment where I lost it and started fooling around with the sound and memories of a very special 90´s movie and my favourite Sci-Fi franchise came to mind 😂

Don´t take life too serious - remember to just have fun from time to time 😊"

"I love the Prophet X. Really. I deeply enjoy it´s possibilities. It´s overall structure, it´s audio quality.

For me, it is the most inspiring instrument I own.

Sometimes I sit down and start programming just for the fun of it to relax and calm down.

Mostly I don´t record, what I do when I´m programming. But this time, I had the cam near me from the last videos.

So, this is, what it sounded like in the end.
