The Ultimate Synth Bass Collection is a huge sample library of over 1300 samples from 25 hardware synthesizers, featuring a mixture of highly sought after vintage synths right through to the cream of modern synthesis and covering a wide range of analog, digital and FM timbres.

Each sample has been recorded in the same key giving the user the ability to be able to easily layer samples together to create their own unique custom bass sounds. The possibilities are endless.

Using The Ultimate Synth Bass Collection is easy. Just put the samples into a sampler of your choice and begin to get creative.

All samples have been carefully categorized and arranged into 30 separate folders making it quick and easy for the user to find the sound they are looking for.

Luke Neptune's 80s vs 90s soundset for Synthmaster One.

Those of you that know me know i'm more of a hardware guy.
However every now and again a plug in comes along that really blows me away. Synthmaster One most definitely falls into that category!

For this soundset the guys at KV331 Audio sampled my OB-6 and Prophet 6 with great care and detail. They then sent me an updated version of Synthmaster One containing the samples and i was extremely impressed with how well they sounded. It really did sound like i was playing my OB-6/P6.
I used these samples to create many of the sounds in this set, including some of my signature patches that you may have heard in my previous OB-6 and P6 soundsets. This may be music to the ears of those of you who like my OB6 and P6 soundsets but can't use them as you don't own those synths.

One thing i really enjoyed whilst making this soundset was having the ability to mix analog style oscillators with FM or Wavetables style oscillators. To be able to create sounds that sound like the love child of a DX7 & Juno 60 is so exciting and incredibly inspiring to me. This feature has enabled me to create certain sounds within this soundset that i simply couldn't do with my hardware.

As mentioned above this soundset is free with the latest version of Synthmaster One so if you haven't yet updated, do so.
If you don't yet own a copy of Synthmaster One, get it!

House Disco & Funk also features a Talkbox patch that has been carefully recreated from the Yamaha DX100’s ‘Hardbrass’ preset -the preset that the great Roger Troutman used to use- So just hook a Talkbox up to your Rev2 find the patch named ‘Talkbox patch’ and get your computer voiced funk on!

Extra effort has been put into routing multiple sources to the mod wheel, in affect turning it into a kind of ‘super nob’ with the ability to transform a patch into a whole new sound! -great for dance music builds and drops-.

I enjoyed making this soundset, it was clear from my very first touches of the Rev2 that it was a synth that would excel at dance music. Hopefully you agree and find it a great source of musical inspiration.

"I’ve uploaded this subtitled version of my track Mother Earth.
Some people have asked who the lady is that does the speech in the middle of the track? Her name is Valerie Kaur, she’s a documentary maker & American civil rights activist. The speech is from an interfaith service on the NYE of 2016 which was called after a series of hate crimes in the USA, including earlier that week when a Sikh man was shot in his driveway by a masked man who shouted ‘go back to your own country’ before pulling the trigger.
For me the message is simple... Love over hate."
