Combo I Like: 4Ms PEG Feat Roland System-500 505 Filter Eurorack module (For "DubStep" Wobble Bass)

"Yes,another "Combo I like" with the Pingable Envelope Generator from 4ms, Didn t I tell you that it s one of my favorite modular Synth LFO?

For the wobble Bass and to do Dubstep Bass line with My Modular Synthesizer 99% of the time I use the PEG because with the different Speed and Shape it s really easy to do this very useful sync Lfo.

For filter I don 't always use the same , but one filter I particularly like is the Roland Sys 505, it s a reproduction of the Analog SH-5 Synthesizer Filter with lot of character, and because it s a double filter I can use 1 different Lfo of each Filter cutoff.

What you don 't see on the video:

The oscillator are a Square and a Sawtooth from my Roland 510 Eurorack module.

Not use I m using it here but in this kind of patch I used to plug my Tiptop Audio Circadian Rhythms in the Peg Reset to Re-Synchronize the Start of the 2 Peg Lfo when I need it.

Also I don 't use any vca here.

"Good night" Patch Feat Moog Subharmonicon, Eurorack modulation and Eventide h9 reverb

"Tonight I wanted to do a small ambient patch to test the Moog Subharmonicon synthesizer with modulation from some of my Eurorack module with a reverb from my Eventide h9 .

The Eurorack module I use are :
Tiptop Audio Circadian Rhythms and Z8000 Matrix Sequencer
VC Sequencer from RYO
and Quad Clock Distributor From 4ms
The clock come from the Moog and the Modular synth modulate some osc and some sub(that why sometimes it s little wrong, pretty hard to quantize everything sorry),they also modulate the timing of the modulation.

Tiptop Audio - D'N'B

"In this patch, there are two Circadian Rhythms.

The output of channel 1, on the first Circadian, controls the clock of the second Circadian, like a clock divider.

By changing the clock (bpm) in a track, we can switch the genre of music.

The second Circadian controls the Tiptop drum elements (BD909, HATS909, HATS808, SD909, SD808) the Z4000 envelopes, and the Z8000 cv sequencer that controls all the CV parameters.

The Tiptop Audio FX modules (ECHOZ, ZVERB, Z5000 and ZDSP), add delay and echoes, giving a sense of space.

An internal LFO modulates the delay time slightly to give some wobble chorus/vibrato to the sound. The

Analog Kick Drum & Big Muff Fuzz Demo (Feat Jomox ModBase 09 Eurorack Drum Module)

"I m testing here the Jomox ModBase 09 Analog Kick Drum in the in my good old and Famous Electro Harmonix Big Muff for future Techno / Rave / Hard Techno sound bank.

In this very simple patch I use the tiptop audio Circadian Rhythm aka the "trigger sequencer techno monster" who trig the Jomox Bass Drum Module .

Between the Kick module and the Big muff (and it s very important to keep the signal more "clean") I use the Diy module from ADDAC , the 200PI PEDAL INTEGRATOR . This small utility allows 2 different chains of pedals to be independently connected to modular synthesizer.The Send channels attenuate the synth level to instrument level. The Return channels amplify the signal from instrument to synth level."

"This was a part of my performance at 'Modular on the Spot' in Los Angeles. A song I composed that you not often hear from me, very ambient, and it's called: 'Modular Contentment'. Also I cut some of my Drone shots into the montage, that I shot in Thailand during the scouting of one of my movies. All performed on my Eurorack Modular Synth.

This music is a one-take performance, music is performed live without edits or external sequencers other than what's in the case.
