"EM-25 is an interesting Soviet string-synth that looks and feels like a curious
cross between Moog Opus 3 and ARP Solina. Like other Soviet synths, has got a
distinct sound of its own and can easily compete with synths that have grown to
become classics.
• 49-note (C-C) split multi-keyboard.
This
auction synth was made in May 1989 in USSR. Serial number 09173.
•
This seems to have appeared in two very different forms. Both have sets of
sliders to the left of the keyboard and in three sections behind it; but one is
a neater, flatter machine with a carrying handle at the front, while the other
has fold-down legs, a little Farfisa-like, and a reverse-color keyboard for the
bottom two octaves.
• EM-025 HAS A THREE MAIN SOUND SECTIONS :
STRINGS, ORGAN, BRASS. All 3 sections You can use as independent sound or these
will be mixed in any combination of 1, 2 or 3 sources with select buttons.

instrument. Due to this oscillator a possibility of instrument detuning in the
process of operation is eliminated.
