"Teen Angst" - M83 w/ Prophet 12 & Tempest

Published on Feb 5, 2013 peterkeys88·19 videos

"Because it's fun! A live synthy cover of M83's "Teen Angst" using just the DSI Prophet 12 (still in beta) & Tempest (in playlist mode). More music at http://peterdyer.net/

Carson Day jammed on this w/ me at Namm '13, tweaking the Tempest live, but since no video emerged of it, I wanted to share the sounds, as it was fun to play. It's still in development so don't get your panties in a twist."

French Connection

YouTube Uploaded by peterkeys88 on Aug 31, 2011
"I had the oppurtunity to mess around with an Analogue Systems "French Connection", an imitation of an early electronic instrument called the Ondes Martenot. This controller is CV'd up to an MFB Kraftzwerg. Just a demonstration of some of it's capabilites. I'll make a more musical video soon."

Analog Dubstep - Minimoog & Schlagzwerg

YouTube Uploaded by peterkeys88 on May 8, 2011

"peterdyer.net Some fiddling after being away from my analog beauties for a while, ended up like some Tron dubstep. You'll hear the MFB Schlagzwerg controlling the Kraftzwerg, with a mixer to fade things in and out, and then me playing some Voyager over the top. And thats it! No laptops allowed on this one! Sadly my camera does not capture bass too well. The Voyager does have an Xotic effects AC Booster on it for beef."

Minimoog plays Daft Punk - Derezzed

YouTube via peterkeys88 | January 05, 2011 |

"peterkeys.net - Just heard the soundtrack for Tron: Legacy and i had to learn the Derezzed riff. Just a clip thru some of the ideas they hit, using a Minimoog Model D with a Moogerfooger Phaser, MFB Schlagzwerg drum machine with a Moogerfooger Low-Pass, and a Korg KP3 at the end. We can't be as cool as Daft Punk, but we can still try."

MFB Schlagzwerg & Foogers on auto-pilot

peterkeys88 — April 20, 2010 — "Just a quick jam i put together after unboxing the MFB Schlagzwerg drum machine. Its got all sorts of CV ins n outs, which i spread and recieved over the Moog Voyager, Juno-60, Prophet '08, and Moogerfooger Freq Box/ Midi Murf/ LP Filter/ Delay, and VX-351. Theres an Arp Axxe in there just making some noise. Incredible machine, the MFB, Enjoy!"

Moogerfoogers 101, 102, 103 and CP-251 Fun

peterkeys88 — September 04, 2009 — "Moogerfooger Ringmod/LowPass/Phaser, modded by CP-251, hitting Wave and Filter of Voyager, with Filter self-oscillating. More music at Myspace.com/peterdyer"

Arp Axxe is revived

YouTube via peterkeys88 — December 02, 2009 — "This Arp Axxe (v.1) was in sore shape when i recieved it as a generous gift. After some work from synthesizerrepair.com its sounding great. It has a single VCO with two waveforms (saw, square) freely mixable, one vcf, and one LFO. Single envelope routable to pitch or filter, and a S/H as well. Here i go through its basic functions, and then add a Moogerfooger Freqbox (MF-107), with the CV out from the Axxe, for a second tunable VCO. Works pretty well. The chords at 0:27 are from a Roland OS9. Played through a Boss RV-5 reverb, MXR-169 analog delay, and a Boss CE-5 Chorus/Ensemble."

Tetra synth and claymation

YouTube via peterkeys88 — September 23, 2009 — "Your hearing the sounds of the new Dave Smith Tetra, plus a few things from a Moog Voyager, with some multitracking in Logic. This cartoon is rather frightening, i dont know what it was originally for but i suppose theyre trying to get the children to behave. more music at Myspace.com/peterdyer"

A Tetra, a Voyager, and some cartoons

peterkeys88 — September 23, 2009 — "The Care Bears are just to keep your busy eyes entertained. Been playing with my new Dave Smith Tetra and loving it. Your hearing that, with a Moog Voyager thru an MXR 150 analog delay, and a Korg KP3, multitracking via Logic. more music at Myspace.com/peterdyer Kudos to retrojunk.com for the clip."

Update via D' Naab 136 in the comments: "claymation is "The Mysterious Stranger" segment from "The Adventures of Mark Twain"."
