First Try With The D1000

YouTube via plague1715 | January 26, 2011 |

"Warning: this a demo of my first few minutes with this perverse, bizarre, and evil instrument. This is not a musical statement.

No, it doesn't sound like a Linndrum, 606, 909, or Machinedrum. And no, it doesn't have gated reverb. If you don't like it then eat shit."

Update via brian comnes in the comments:

"I think it is cool that someone actually made a video at NAMM! Thank you Klopfgeist!
But for anyone thinking that this video above is all that it is capable of, please watch this before making your final opinion that this thing is total shit. It's all in the hands of the player that make it."

Metasonix Click Beatz

YouTube via plague1715 | December 21, 2010 |

"Trying to use the Metasonix R-54 in the same manner as the D1000, by ringing the resonant filter with short trigger pulses. The only audio path here is the R-54 into the R-51. The rest of the patch sets up a fairly complex network of digital gates and logic, and the Pressure Points monophonically opens the QMMG as a vca which selects 4 different gate sources to be injected into the gate network."

Metasonix Disco

YouTube via plague1715 | December 04, 2010 |

"All of the Metasonix R-series modules are used in this patch (except r60). Wiard Oscillator is main sound source molested by the yellow. The amazing R-51 vca provides the rhythm/clicky sound as well as acting as a vca. Sound of Shadows with A-102 in feedback loop provide extra delicious destruction on the output."

Metasonix Wretch Machine + Moog Delay

YouTube via plague1715 | October 28, 2010

"The Make Noise Pressure Points is acting as a manual gate for the Wretch. When the cable is plugged in, the Moog Voyager's slewed sample and hold signal modulates the pitch of the wretch. Wretch output is going into the Moogerfooger MF-104z Analog Delay, whose rate is modulated by an attenuated triangle wave from the Voyager."

Complex Logic Gates Controlling Z8000

YouTube via plague1715 | October 03, 2010

"This patch makes heavy use of AND, OR, XOR, and Flip Flop gates to run the awesome Tip Top Z8000 matrix sequencer. Everything else going on is too complicated to easily explain. Some other prominent modules used are The Harvestman Zorlon Cannon, the Metasonix R-54, the Doepfer A-106-1 Xtreme Filter (ms20), Intellijel Spock and Flip Flop, and the Malekko Wiard Oscillator."
