"vintage synth demo by RetroSound

SCI Pro-One Analog Synthesizer (demo of various filter and envelope settings, Sync, FM, Polymodulation and more); triggered by the Roland TR-606 'Drumatix'
drums: Roland TR-606

no effects or EQ used

For me is the Pro-One one of the best classic monophonic synths ever!

This video demo is not a musical statement, only demonstration of the sound possibilities of the instrument."

Update via theformicarium: "I've just had great fun taking some shots of our newly repaired Multimoog (which used to belong to the music department at my old school, I went back a few years ago to take part in a performance for my brother and found that they were planning to chuck it in a skip and so I rescued it!) I have just saved up enough to have Tony Allgood at Oakley Sound get it restored to nearly good as new and it arrived back on Sunday. The sound is amazing, the sweepable waveshape oscillators sound incredible when theyre halfway between shapes and the sample & hold is to die for. I've taken some careful closeups and put them on the Formication Flickr page along with some shots of our Analog Solutions modded tr-606 and a few more shots of the ubiquitous notron"

Show me your panels for CGS modules!

Nodal

"Nodal is a generative software application for composing music. It uses a novel method for the notation and playing of MIDI based music. This method is based around the concept of a user-defined graph. The graph consists of nodes (musical events) and edges (connections between events). You interactively define the graph, which is then traversed by any number of players who play the musical events as they encounter them on the graph. The time taken to travel from one node to another is based on the length of the edges that connect the nodes.

Nodal is free software available for Mac OS X based computers.

Working with Nodal

Nodal does not make any sound by itself – it only generates MIDI data. You will need a MIDI synthesiser to hear the output that Nodal is making. Nodal is compatible with any MIDI synthesiser. For simple demonstrations we recommend SimpleSynth.
Nodal will also work with Apple's GarageBand software."
