In case you are looking, you can find them on the friends of OB-12 Yahoo list under the files section.

Harmonic Table Keyboard

Playing synths in bed...

via synth-diy where you will find the full post.

snip:
"This is another project I just started working on. It is a keyboard/MIDI controler based on the harmonic table (like the c-thru music controler). This one is just switches which all connect to a midi core module (from ucapps.de) which translates the various keypresses to midi signals. There are 50 keys/notes and although I'm going to use letra-set rub-ons to write the notes onto the keys, you can make out which note is which from the blue keys."

punkdISCO on the Roland MKS-80 and Doepfer Drehbank

via punkdISCO on the AH mailing list: "I cant understand why a few people are unimpressed with the MKS80. Maybe it's the interface? Anyway, I have had mine for maybe 6 years and for 5 years it remained unused (interface). I also had a Doepfer Drehbank that was also unused (it was setup to control a few synths so subsequently controlled none). I have now decided to setup the MKS80/Drehbank permanently paired. This means that when I turn then on, they work! The Drehbank has 64 knobs - the MKS80 has 64 editable parameters!

The MKS80 is an incredible synth. It just sounds wonderful. Extremely powerful and with the unusual modulation options, you can get some very aggressive/unusual sounds out of it.

I don't know where the previous poster got the 6dB bass boost figure from (I don't ever recall hearing it quantified) and I don't even know if the well documented boost actually exists, although I have no reason to doubt it. With or without this boost, it has a bass to die for. So much so that nearly every patch I use tends to have the HPF turned all the way up (unless it's a bass patch).

Oh yeah, and the duo-phonic is very nice, as is the very flexible unison modes."

Note the custom face on the Drehbank which normally looks like this image. Also note the punkdISCO logo in the top shot.

"Only the Doepfer monster case was used, everything is just blinking alluringly, attempting to distract you.
Doepfer A-155 randomly sequencing a Livewire AFG sine,
Doepfer A-147 square wave clocking Doepfer A-149-1/2,
Doepfer A-149-2 random gates triggering QMMG CV triggers and CV resonance in no particular order,
QMMG master out lightly treated with Doepfer A-199 spring rev & Doepfer A-188-1Y (256) (CV2 modded with A-149-1)

Actually the patch took less time to set up than it did to write this explanation.

Mind you, this is a prototype QMMG, and I'm only using 2 of the 4 modes (and of those 2 modes used I didn't properly demonstrate their respective ranges, nor did I intend to) this does not properly demonstrate all of the module's enormous potential, just a little jam.
