"Could you be loved" - on ELKA Panther 100

YouTube via organfairy. Search for organfairy on the top left search box here on MATRIXSYNTH for more.
"I recorded this melody - originally played by Bob Marley - 5 years ago when I had a couple of old Elka organs in my possesion. I don't have the Panther 100 anymore so I have made a video about something else. The other sounds are played on the Elka Preludeo 22L, EP-8, Cappricio 33L."

KORG MS-20 (2) fat sync sound!

YouTube via AnalogAudio1. follow-up to this post.
"Here is the second MS-20 movie - this time with a fat sync-style sound.

The MS-20 has no osc sync function. But if you try hard - really hard, you'll get similar results... it's a matter of patching and experimenting. I give you a hint: for this sound, I also used the internal "signal processor".

No additional effects where used."

Richard Lainhart @ Baltimore Electronic Music Fest 2009 June 27

"Friends: on Saturday, June 27, at 10 PM, I'll be headlining at the Baltimore Electronic Music Fest 2009, a 12-hour festival of live electronic music with 15 performers on indoor and outdoor stages sponsored by the Baltimore SDIY Group. The festival will be held at Hexagon Space (http://hexagonspace.com), 1825 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, MD, 21201; for more information and a complete list of performers, go to: link

I'll be performing with my Buchla 200e/Haken Continuum system, and the festival promises to be a fantastic day of knob-twisting, circuit-bending, cable-tangling, and sonic mayhem. I hope to see you there."

Manufacturers Page

This is just a reminder. Be sure to check out the MORE MANUFACTURES link on the right of the site. Click on each image and see what they are up to. I've added a few to the list. These are the makers of our passion folks. Also, ALL of them visit MATRIXSYNTH and are readers just like you. Support them because they support us - they are us. Without them we would not have all the cool gear that we currently have available to us. It is interesting when you think about it. We sometimes pine about the old days of vintage analog, yet we probably have far more to chose from now than we did back then. And for A LOT less. We really are in a bit of a synth renaissance and we have these manufacturers to thank for that.
