"Kicker is the latest all-analog electronic instrument from Abstract Data.

This awesome Kick Drum & Low Frequency Percussion Synth is capable of all types of Kicks, Hits, Sub Drops and more.

From Electro Percussion to proper, floor-shaking Techno Kick Drums, from warm, rounded Ambient Booms to hard, sharp, Dub Drops - Kicker can kick it.

It's impossible to understate how important good bass-frequency instruments are to many types of modern music
and for the biggest, baddest, phattest bottom end - you'll need analog.

What does it sound like?

Every sound in the demo below is from Kicker. This track was recorded using 8 separate overdubs and some live tweaking.
There are no effects and the only post-processing is a Limiter on the Master Output.


The demo below gives a small example of some simple but vital electronic kick drum sounds. This track was recorded using just 1 of the 2 Kicker oscilators.
Again, there are no effects or post-processing.


You will need speakers with a good low frequency response to fully appreciate the depth of these recordings.

"The Simmons Clap Trap is a digital 8-bit EPROM-based (hand clap sample) with an analog noise and modulation sections used for generating synthesized clap sounds.

The Clap Trap can be triggered a number of ways using it’s external ¼ inch trigger inputs or manually via buttons on the top of the unit. There is also an Automatic repeat trigger mode that triggers the Clap Trap synth with a user selectable retriggering rate. The “Auto” mode is extremely useful when designing a synthesized clap sound with the front panel controls.

Another unique feature on the Clap Trap is a Humanizer button that adds subtle variations to the clap sample speed and duration giving the clap synth a more human feel when triggered.

"Makenosie Maths generates a clock for the Brainsmodule wich modulates the clock - the Pressurepoint-rows are chained with a Doepfer Sequential Switch.
With the help of a clock-divider and the Doepfer sequencer i can play in sync 3 different sounds with several modules and the Cwejman S1 - also the Machinedrum gets triggers for the Bd and Snare"
