"note that the large silver logo strip is really a vibrato button. Also, the card reader doesn't work, neither (at this point) do some of the voices.....for shame."

Roland OP-8 Analog Synth CV/DCB Interface

via this auction
details via the seller:
"As you see in my photos I add a custom made DCB cable with it to hook it up with your synth.

I've used it with both Jupiter-8 and Juno-60.

I've used my Mono Analog synth/Seq such as MC-202 to drive the Jupiter-8 thrugh the OP-8 and it added a different color to the mix

The Jupiter-8 in Unison mode was mixed with the MC-202 sound and I've also played on a different channel my old Roland SH-101 and drove the Jupiter-8 live.

There are unlimited possibilites especially today with the Midi to CV like Kenton where you can use each channel to play different melody to drive the Jupiter or Juno.

The Roland OP-8 interface was designed to control Roland Analog Polyphonic Synthesizers that were equipped with a DCB (Digital Control Bus interface)

The OP-8 and a Synthesizer were connected together usin a DCB cable.

The transpose control on the OP-8 was able to transpose the synthesizer up or down by one octave..

When using the OP-8 with a Roland Juno 60 the connection and operation were extremely easy, as only the CV and gate input jacks, and the transpose switch were relevant"

Analogue Solutions SL16 Sequencer Module

via Noisebug on Ebay
"This is a 'module' intended to fit into a modular synthesiser case/PSU. SL16 needs a case and power supply to work. We can provide case AS0084 or AS1600, or you can fit into your own case.
*Rare option of sliders rather than rotary controls (an option some would prefer - gives a graphical representation of CV output)
*1x CV and 2 x Gate outputs.
*Binary input to control step number.
*SL16 comes with a powered case (shown in pic), power supply, and manual."

"The first affordable modular synthesiser. Manufactured from 1978 to 1983 and still a classic. Its patch bay enables it to be physically re-modelled, similarly to the ARP 2600, but on a smaller (and affordable) scale. An external signal processor allows the connection of an external signal, which can be used to control the synthesised tone, or added to the signal path. It can produce incredible bass sounds (using the High Pass Filter as an oscillator)."

"A little piece I put together for a tabletop music interfaces workshop at Stanford CCRMA in July 2010.

Thx to Adam Tindale and Lawrence Fyfe for running the workshop. The piece uses Lawrence's JunctionBox framework on top of Processing, SuperCollider and Reactivision."
