"Apart from a filter sweep from the XTK everything is from the Modular, clock (and drums) from MachineDrum.
Need another clock divider then would alter the sequence more through the track, making more use of the A155/154!"

The Model by Kraftwerk - live cover by Hyperdust

YouTube via hyperdust7 | November 20, 2010

A live cover of the track The Model by Kraftwerk. Performed by Hyperdust - James Bragg at a small musical gathering in a pub in Bristol UK. I've just bought myself a new synth - Mopho by Dave Smith instruments. Very pleased with it - small, great sounding, well feautured, very easy to control live. People seem to respond very positively to early 80's electro covers - they don't get performed often. I might try some Numan next time."

Cursor-Controlled Time Stretching

YouTube via Photosounder | November 20, 2010

This video shows the work in progress that is live synthesis in Photosounder. At the moment the latest (unreleased) build of Photosounder can synthesise directly what's under the mouse cursor, meaning you can play a sound at any rate without changing the pitch.

In the future it will a lot do more using the same synthesis technique. The first public release containing this feature will be released in a few weeks. Also at some point the mouse cursor is out of sync with what you hear, that has to do with the video recording software being out of sync, not Photosounder.

Original track is James Brown's Cold Sweat"

Synthesizer-Symposium Cologne

via BERND KISTENMACHER

"I will participate on the "Synthesizer-Symposium" in Cologne on november 27th.

The event in Cologne will happen at "EMS - Electronic Music School". The organizers will also do an "Open Day" for all of you, which wants to get know their offers.

But this is not everything: in the evening, all participants wants to have some "party" after that long and "hard" day.

Also I will finish the year with another exclusive concert and also my colleague Mic "Moogulator" Irmer will perform there. The evening will finish with an exclusive DJ-Set from Bjoern Torwellen itself. He is one of the heads of EMS.

So you might expect some extracts from "Celestial Movements" and "Beyond The Deep" and eventual a little bit more...
I am also happy to announce, that my label "MellowJet Records" will also be there with a stand.

So meet and greet is always possible!

I hope to see you there."
