SnazzyFX Dreamboat Module

via this auction

"Full product info from the Snazzy FX website:

'The Dreamboat is a dual chaotic oscillator with 2x CV inputs, a Gate output with adjustable threshold, and two sets of X and Y outputs. There are two oscillator sections to the module, the top half is an audio rate chaotic oscillator and the lower half outputs LFO rate signals. With its five outputs, the Dreamboat allows you to connect to plenty of modules all at once, allowing all kinds of modulation and listening possibilities. When used with an oscilloscope or a scope program in X/Y mode, the Dreamboat allows you to view its chaotic attractors in realtime.

Allowing for unique rhythms through the use of the gate output, a typical setup might see the Dreamboat involved in a few feedback loops while controlling an ADSR and a VCA with its gate output. When used with TIP-TOP's special dual cables, hearing AND viewing the Dreamboat at the same time is a snap.

The Dreamboat is easy to use, just turn the knobs until the Chaos starts, then add modulation, cross-couple the two sections, and bring in a VCO or Noise module. For even more far out sounds, we recommend the use of two or even three Dreamboats for a truly powerful setup. Though the Dreamboat is not an oscillator in a way you might be used to, it will push you into new musical directions.

From subtle to destructive, from scary to absurd, the Dreamboat is a strange bird.

Use the Dreamboat to create everything from strange fogs to banging pots and pans, use it to explore Chaos or simply to have a truly unique module in your setup.'"

RARE Prophecysound Infinitphase MK. II phaser

via this auction

"It is literally a Phaser/Knob-twiddler freak's dream of a pedal. It does require a bit of learning curve to get the most out of it. It has true bypass and you can split the phasing up, create sample/hold effects, and other things. There is a 4/8 pole switch on front, and it has a range knob on back as well as a controller pedal jack (which I have not tried out yet, so I'm not sure if it is a speed control or a sweep control). Everything works on this pedal all LEDs light and it is an amazing little effect. They're no longer made and they are rare... The first one I owned was a MK I. At the time of purchase I emailed Mike Both, who created the pedal and asked what the difference between MI and MII pedals were, he said MK II is a very slight improvement but overall they are virtually the same. This one I believe is a MK II, as indicated by the slighly different case and silkscreen."

Oberheim Digital Sequencer DS-2. Serial # 017

via this auction

"This is an exceptionally rare and difficult to find Oberheim vintage sequencer which was bought years ago with an Arp 2500 synthesizor. As you can see from the pictures, the serial number is an unbelievably low 017! The body of the device is very clean and in great condition. As you can see it has a copy of the original factory manual..."

EDP Electronic Dream Plant Wasp Synthesiser

via this auction
"I've owned quite a few classic synths like the Minimoog, Oberheim OB-8 and Yamaha CS80, but none of them is quite as extraordinary as the Wasp. Designed in Oxford by Chris Huggett, the Wasp is an early digitally-controlled analogue synth in a unique injection-moulded plastic case

The Wasp looks like a toy, and sounds pretty tinny through the built-in speaker, but plugged into a mixing desk it sounds enormous. The sounds seem to come from nowhere with no background noise. Just huge, clean monstrous synth sounds that you couldn't imagine coming from any other synth

At the heart of the Wasp are two digitally-controlled oscillators and a superb filter. There's a third "control" oscillator for LFO and filter modulation, switchable between random, sine, two sawtooth and square wave shapes. There's also a noise source. There's an envelope shaper for the VCA and one for the filter. The filter is very flexible - both the control oscillator and the envelope generator control the filter via +/- pots

The main oscillators can be switched off and the filter & noise source used to generate wind & noise effects - which it's very good at - or the filter Q can be pushed right up, virtually into oscillation, to generate spooky water drop effects with the control oscillator on random

It's a monophonic synth, in the tradition of the great Mini Moog and, like the Moog, can generate monster bass sounds. The Wasp is cleaner sounding than the Moog and it's also brighter and deeper"
