Search for CMU-800 on the right for previous posts. I believe the CMU-800 requires software and a PC to work.

Korg Kaossilator Overview
YouTube Uploaded by KorgUSAVideos on Feb 7, 2012
Another old video just uploaded on KorgUSAVideos' channel.
"Ready to have fun? Check in with Korg's James Sajeva and experience the Kaossilator! The Kaossilator Dynamic Phrase Synthesizer can be played by anyone, at any place, and at any time. The Kaoss X-Y touchpad provides amazing control using a single finger. There are drums, synths, basses, chords, and all kinds of sounds. Using the onboard Loop/Phrase recorder allows major grooves to be built up one track at a time. Gate Arpeggiation keeps it all happening in perfect sync!

Solvent
"Veteran Canadian producer and hardware lover, Solvent, gave StudioFeed an inside look at his Bloor-West home studio set-up, as well as discussed everything from why he makes music to the story behind his recent RDJ-CS5 EP. Jason touched on many topics involving music in this lengthy interview, including what it’s like to have a fifteen-year career and to still be considered a “relatively obscure” musician. In addition to making music, Solvent is also involved in a documentary on modular synthesizers called “I Dream of Wires” that is expected to be released later in 2012."

Low Cost Modular Cabinets by amherstdesign
via Christopher on The MATRIXSYNTH Lounge
"I'm producting a range of low-cost cabinets for MU (Dotcom, Moog, Moon, STG Soundlabs, etc.) or 5U (MOTM, Modcan, etc.) modular systems."
You can find them on amherstdesign.
"The cabinet consists of six panels (three identical pairs; two for top/bottom, two for front/back, two for left/right sides) made from 1/2″ (12mm) Fir-core plywood with Maple face and back . Everything uses CARB Phase II compliant material (no added formaldehyde in the glue!) so that people in California won’t get their shipment stopped at the border. To customize it you can stain, paint, laminate, or decorate this to your heart’s content."

"My Absynth version of György Ligeti "Continuum". There was no over dubbing. This was all done using Absynth's envelopes. I created 48 different patches for the piece . I then bounced each one out and edited then together to complete the work."

"rePatcher: a modular synth interface for your computer!
works with MAX/MSP and Pure Data
http://www.openmusiclabs.com/projects/repatcher/"
"rePatcher is an Arduino shield that allows you to “repatch” your Max/MSP or Pure Data patches with a 6 x 6 patchbay matrix. It also has 6 general purpose control knobs for modifying parameters in your patch. Since it does all of this over USB, it can be hacked to work with any other program that can accept a serial stream."
