IKEA Presents, Harry's Records. Make Room for Your Life

Published on Feb 4, 2013 ikeauk·46 videos

This one has been making the rounds. Some light synth spotting and shoe racks for stands. It's a fun watch.

"Look at how we helped Harry organise his passion for more than 4500 records and make room for his family life. If you could do with some help storing your things, maybe some of the solutions we used for Harry might help you too.

BugBrand Live St.Georges, 6th Feb 2013

"Preparing for St.Georges, 6th Feb 2013.

The modular will be placed on the stage to run merrily along in never-quite-repeating manner.

Quite tuned, though probably slightly wonky!

Here's a quick recording - patched last night, switching on afresh, so the oscillators are warming up to being in tune."

via Joshua Holley on Facebook

"The best part about manufacturing? Getting a sample of course! Here is the Mattson SQ816 http://www.division-6.com/products/mattson-sq816-sequencer.php. I'm beaming with excitement to announce the robots at Darkplace will be busy all this week populating boards (in between playing this thing...i can't believe how awesome it is!!!)
Seriously my favorite sequencer!!!"

According to George Mattson, this is serial #0001.

NAMM 2013: Jomox Akasha Synth Sound Art at NAMM

Published on Feb 5, 2013 vidjoyogi·7 videos

"A short demo at NAMM of the first Akasha Synth object. It's a modular system with geometric shapes in order to build sounding 3D art objects. The modules or nodes provide analog sound circuits and a digital interconnection that can be controlled by Midi. Touch sensitive pads and bright LEDs show the interconnection VCAs and their modulations. There are triangles, squares and pentagons to obtain any platonic or irregular body or planes.

The synth line comes from the Akasha Modules, it's synced to an XBASE 999 and controlled by Midi CCs or the internal touch sensitive pads.

Sorry for the noisy environment;)"
